Kegco FD-64SS Beer Growler

Bought two for my summer cottage, and now a month later bought another two fro my condo. Even the wife likes, and did not complain about the price, once she started getting craft beer at home on a regular basis.I put the empty growler with cap open off, in freezer the night before, take out, close up the cap, and go off to my craft beer store or brewery. This way there is no foaming when the growler is filled.

Finally, a well made, no leak product! I’ve been trying to find a nice, insulated, metal growler since a not so bright bartender tore the seal on my old one and it started leaking on the spot (no, she wouldn’t cop to doing it even though I watched her do it). This one is perfect! Solid construction, a large mouth to pour from, a nice handle, and insulated well. This is the one!

I purchesed my first one 2 mos ago and have filled it many times.I chose this one for the insulation, the handle and the swing- top lid. The lid is the only issue. When it is slightly bumped it will pop open. Iat is just something to be aware of. I bought another and was going to buy a third as a gift but saw they now charge for shipping. Although I am happy with MY growler, it is not worth $40. I won't pay that much.

I use this every day as my primary drinking source, one thing that's great about this is you can put cold water in it the day before. Pop it open the next day and it's like it just came out of the fridge. If you add ice it can last a good day or more. This is by far one of the best pitches I've made for a drinking jug and I've had nothing but the best experience using it!

Keeps anything ice cold all day long and it's huge. Price is only like $10 more than a nice non vacuum insulated stainless 64oz growler but it actually keeps things cold. This thing is a no brainier. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

Sleek and solidly built insulated growler. Lid doesn't leak - keeps beer carbonated for at least 48hrs (havent tested it beyond that). Handle is very sturdy, and a wider mouth makes it easy to clean. Love that it can take both hot and cold liquids. Great buy.

Keeps beer cold for at least a few hours. Seals very well.But the paint scratches ridiculously easily. The attached photo is from a single use.

I like the look and the double wall vacuum sealed is really nice, it keeps the beer cold for a while. Nice if you bring to a BYOB party, etc, you don't need to find fridge/cooler space for it since if you don't put it right in the sun it will stay cold long enough to drink it.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the lid can be accidentally bumped open. We have resorted to some electrical tape around the neck to hold the closure shut if we are transporting.
