It’s been months since I’ve had this device and I am pleased! I’ve tried almost everything to detour cats from my yard. Nothing worked except this! It barks loud! Haven’t see any cat poop in months! Only thing is the sensor is very sensitive. You will need to angel this sensor in a place wheee it’s NOT picking up cars that drive by. I don’t have that issue because I place mine in an area that won’t pick up cars. I love this device and will be buying another one soon for more coverage. Expensive but worth the money to me. I was stressing out over the cats using my turf as their litter box. Not anymore though!

I call it Rover. Lol. This thing is perfect. Sounds just like a real big dog when it barks. I call it Rover. I Love this thing. You can't tell that it's not a real dog. It's very sensitive. You come close n Rover barks like a big vicious dog. Great security dog.!

Read the reviews prior to purchasing, but seems like the only product on the market for what it does. Volume is an issue. You can hear it from the outside if next to the door, however it should be louder for a real dog. Had the police hear it - one said it sounded like a dog. The other said, he knew it was odd because it was not loud enough (independent confirmation). From a theatrical perspective - needs to be louder to project ferocity and therefore don't dare break in. One other tidbit - if high winds - the probe will shake causing the device to go off even without someone there. Nature of the beast, I guess. Gave it 4 instead of 3 stars because it is the only one on the market I found.

The sensors are WAY TOO sensitive, triggering the loud dog bark nonstop. There appears to be no way to adjust the sensitivity, only a way to narrow each sensor's field of vision. Would not recommend.

This thing is awesome! Works great. We are in between big dogs for protection at our home and so this makes me feel a little safer til we grow up our next protector. Great product.

I wanted an alarm that was more sensitive to movement. This alarm does alarm you if someone enters but I want before they enter. I put sensors in windows maybe that is the problem. I will place sensors outside and I hope for a better result.

Sounds realistic, I use the dog bark,growl setting, sensor works good, I use batteries, mounted under my awning, and the remote works good.

Fantastic idea. Poor execution. The unit is way too sensitive and has no sensitivity adjustment. So, dog barks very frequently, responding to non human or animal stimulus (maybe a leaf moving in the wind in the distance). Also, the speaker is just ok. Could be less tinny. I had high hopes for this and don't see any good alternative.
