I needed this to complement some other bulbs, and it does.

This is the first time I ordered this type if light bulb. The light it is not as bright as the LED lightbulbs I am used to seeing. For the reason I ordered them for I'm OK with them.

The manufacturer info on this bulb is honest. In fact, it's even higher than actual: power consumption is 8.6W (vs 9W) and current is 0.88mA (vs 0.95mA). What's interesting about this product, is its power factor (PF), it's 0.79. It would take a lot of text to explain what it is, but in the context of the LED bulbs it can be spelled roughy as "the higher, the better". The maximum possible value is 1 and LED bulbs never has it. PF 0.9 can be found in the expensive brand bulbs, but the usual staff on the shelves has it around 0.65. That being said, this bulb is better than "average". It seems they used a better design and electronic components to make the driver. It gives some hope that the bulb will serve longer than the comparable models.The brightness is higher than usual 800lm bulb, but the real CRI needs to be measured before making the conclusion. Light with much blue component is perceived more bright than it's actually is. I don't have equipment to measure it, so no idea if they really provide CRI 85+.This bulb creates a lot of heat. About the same amount as the other bulbs from this price segment. Experience tells me, that such bulbs usually die in 1-2 years (not even close to 10,000 or 25,000 hours). The only way to verify it, is start using it and see. When my first bulb goes out, I'll get back and update the comment. They provide a paper warranty in the box, it says they will replace the bulb if it burns out in less than a year. We'll see.

This is nice soft lighting for our dining room. Highly recommend!

What do you say about a light bulb? They work. They do what light bulbs do. All were functional, so I’m a happy camper!
