Walkerswood Traditional Jamaican All Purpose Mix and Blenda Green Seasoning, 10 oz

Fantastic flavor, just a really good Jerk marinade, with a moderate warm heat level. the only issue I had is the salt content was high for me, but I hate a lot of salt in stuff. The flavor though is just awesome.

I thought it was good my Jamaican friend at work says get the mild and mix it 50/50 with this. Other people say just use the mild. I managed to do some jerk chicken over charcoal.

Great on chicken. I marinated it overnight. The mild version still has a nice spice to it, but not overwhelmingly hot. I use more of it than what is called for on the label. It says "use sparingly" but I find it tastes much better to use enough to well coat each piece of chicken for marinade.

Overall, I like it. It's not a very strong Jamaican flavor, it's like American Jamaican. As far as the spice level, it is mild, a slight kick of spice but it's mild and not constant. I wouldn't mind if it was a slight more hint of spice But it's the overall flavor not the spicyness that I wish was more Jamaican jerk flavor. I'm not Jamaican, I am a lover of the food and anything soul food related. I like it when this is under $4, usually it's over $8.I'm going to try some other Jamaican jerk seasonings And if I remember, I'll come back and report my favorites.Fyi. The Greens blend is nothing to write home about and not particularly flavorful in any way. It's an ok addition if you want but I didn't see any real enhancement flavor wise so I wouldn't purchase it again.

Delicious !! I have used this to make a stew and grill some chicken thighs. I love the level of spice. Good heat but not too hot. Cheaper on Amazon than in my local grocery store.

Very nice product You don't need very much it's mild 'Jamaican mild' still kind of spicy if it sits overnight smells and tastes excellent!!
