As good as it gets.
The first delivery had a miss labeled package, and the net was the wrong size. The replacement arrived promptly, and was the correct one. There are nets on Amazon that are twice the price, and this net rivals the quality.GREAT PRODUCT AND SERVICE.

This is a great cast net
This is a pancake Cast net. Works great and sinks fast, good for deep water. Great for catching bait in the winter.

Nice net
Well made, flat, and plenty of lead weight. It's a winner and a value. Horn needs a separator for the brail lines but other than that detail, well done.

Good quality at a low price.
Well made compared to more expensive nets.Hard to find 6’ diameter, which is easier to throw when wading or in tight areas like docks.Weights seem a bit light for deeper water or throwing from a boat but work well for me when wading and throwing the net on shallow water. Also weights don’t tangle easily so easy to reload.Opens fully and I’ve caught a lot of finger mullet, medium size Pilchards and small Mojarras with it.So far it seems well made and worth the money compared to my other nets.

GREAT QUALITY NET and Versatile Too!
I can't wait to be able to use this on my saltwater excursions! …and now I have access to a GOOD NET for freshwater too! I am not like some of the lucky ones out there that live right next to saltwater so I have to make plans and wear out the weekends getting out there. That being said, inshore, beach and dock fishing are much easier and cheaper for me to access at the moment and speaking of costs...bait is EXPENSIVE! Last time I went I spent more on bait than I could have at a nice seafood restaurant for two! ....I did that because the net I had just wasn't what it should have been and I ended up having to retire it and salvage it for parts. Enter this bad boy! Don't be like me...BUY ONCE, CRY ONCE! THIS NET IS LEAPS AND BOUNDS NICER THAN MY LAST NET! It is all tied with knots and no melting together. It is not only tied, but WELL TIED and reinforcement ties throughout its construction, someplaces triple tied! Very Nicely Manufactured AND With Good Materials! It is doubled up and reinforced. No defects or anything. Tons of weights and they are smooth and tied/spaced perfectly along the entire net. This is way higher quality than the one that I had before. This one, I can tell, will last me WAY LONGER and do WAY MORE heavy lifting than I am used to. I got the 1/4'', 1.3lb/ft version and this should be good for everything I do on the water from freshwater to saltwater....from minnows and craws to shrimpies and more like bluegills and mullets and whatever else finds its way into it.It comes in a bucket and I am actually able to fit it back in the bucket after having it out without a huge struggle and a bunch of NSFW jibber jab jawing. It is a tight fit but it does go back in without it looking impossible like most nets. It came with a length of repair "thread" on a repair needle/net shuttle, an extra replacement weight, a microfiber towel with the Pancake Logo on it and an instruction flier. The horn is a great size and the rope is really nice quality also. It throws nice and evenly compared to my experience level and how my throws with my old one used to end up. They really mean it when they say "throw a pancake every time" in more ways than one. I am not an expert so it's not perfect but closer to perfect than I've done in the past. This is heavier and heavier duty than I am used to but I am positive this is going to sink faster and that is going to help me catch more! This net is going to be awesome in both shallow and deep water and I’m sure once I get used to it, it’ll be just as great to throw from a boat as it is from a dock or while I'm in the water.I genuinely am impressed with the quality of this cast net and comparing it against known “well made net makers” this is a fantastic value for a 1.3lb/ft ¼inch, 8ft net! I wish I knew it existed sooner so I didn’t have to go without a net for so long due to the replacement/upgrade cost to me at the time. I would 1,000,001% recommend this net to others. This is comparable to nets I have handled on charter boats that I know were not anywhere near this price range. This is a great option to keep guys like me out on the water with the gear that we need…or that we want without breaking the bank or having to go without due to costs. I would reorder this again in .000025 of a heartbeat. It is that good. A+++++ item right here. REALLY LOVING IT!

My skill set wasn’t ready for this size
The quality of net looks amazing. Nice container to store it. Just an amazing quality net. But I over shoot my ability and got the 12 footer and this was just to much net for my. I had a 8ft and over time and repairs it got small. And I figured I would get a net a little bigger but I over shot the size I was looking for. This was just to increadibly hard to throw. For at least someone like me only 5’9”. Just didn’t have enough height to throw something like this

great cast net for bait etc
im a fisherman in south florida and i needed a new cast net to use for catching bait in the mornings. this net works very well and i was very happy with its qualityy. nice heavy lead weights help to give you a perfect cast everytime. the mesh itself is strong and is not easy to snap the wire which is great for if it gets slightly snagged or something. it even comes with a strong plastic bin for storage which is an added bonus because its way better than having it lay around the garage and inevitably getting tangled and/or damaged.

Very solid and well built cast net
The cast net is heavier than I expected, but it's definitely great value. It is well-built, and the materials used are of high quality. I love fishing, and I've been wanting to try this type of fishing for a long time. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to do so with a friend who is more familiar with cast net fishing. I'm looking forward to it and will share my feedback once I've used it. So far, I can say that it's a valuable cast net, very well constructed, and seems to be a great choice in the market.
