Amazing Facts and More
The Author shares fun trivia and facts that he has collected over the years. What a fun book. He has taken facts about just about everything taken from all over the world, which he shares with you. You will enjoy your time reading through this book and sharing it with friends and family. Be the life of the party, showing off your extensive knowledge of facts and win trivia contests. I really love the variety; I mean, who knew Neil Armstrong left his boots on the moon or that Albert Einstein was offered the presidency of Israel? This is a great book filled with information that you can share with your children and enjoy for hours. I definitely recommend buying this for families with young children.

For The Love of Trivia
1,001 Amazing Random Fun Facts for Adults and Kids" weaves a rich tapestry of trivia, masterminded by the father-son duo behind the pseudonym Oscar Johnson. This book is an exhilarating blend of well-researched, playful, and thought-provoking facts, covering everything from curious historical enigmas to delightful pop culture tidbits. While the content is undeniably captivating for adults and children, some might find the numbering confusing, and the formatting choices could disorient certain readers. Nonetheless, gems like the Lithuanian whistling taboo or the backstory of Mark Twain's pen name are sure to ignite conversations. Fans of "National Geographic Kids" and "Guinness World Records" will relish its depth and breadth, though with a slight need for navigation patience. As both a gift and a personal treasure, it promises a world of wonder, with just a few layout bumps along the journey.

Bananas
I’m impressed by the incredible scope of the selection of facts: from art to history, from science to nature, and random quirks. The descriptions are detailed and interesting. This was fun to read! This has everything from the incredible number of bananas consumed to the length of the longest year ever. Find out why dolphins sleep with one eye closed, among many other things.

All kinds of interesting things to think about
This book of random facts is full of interesting trivia. I knew some of the facts presented, but it was mostly new information for me. Some facts were funny, like how vending machines are deadlier than sharks. It's also fascinating how sharks apparently pre-date trees. The randomness of the stream of facts could be difficult for some readers to keep up with, but it is what it is. While the title says this is for kids, it must mean older kids, because the language has not been simplified and there are no illustrations. Kids would find this stuff fascinating, although some of these facts are common knowledge for Americans. This book is worth checking out for anyone who's into trivia. It's good for kids, but the reading level may be challenging. It's full of great conversation starters for family and friends.

A lot of facts
A pretty good bunch of facts. When they say random, they mean it. The facts range through about every category they can. Worth reading once just because I could.

Great resource for interesting facts
I am a trivia junkie, and I loved this book. While it contained a few tidbits I already knew, most of the entries were things I had not heard or read somewhere else. I look forward to reading and learning more from this series of books.

Fun book of trivia
This is a really great collection of trivia on a wide-ranging set of topics. It certain to contain lots of fun facts to share and drive conversations. My only wish is that rather than having chapters if a fixed number of facts, that there were organized in some way (geography, history, animals, etc.). But definitely read this if you are a trivia lover!

A huge amount of topics covered here
A massive array of facts from a lot of different topics. My favourite was the googolplex number fact. I always thought that was just something from the movie back to the future!

Packed full of info!
A great read, definitely a book to dip in and out of, just be prepared that it is organised by number of facts per section with no other themes or groupings, just totally random, like in the title. If you're okay with that, enjoy!

Lots to learn
This is another great trivia book with lots of interesting facts to keep you engaged and entertained for hours. The scope is very broad from science, nature, arts meaning the variety would suit most if a particular niche is not your interest. My only downer is that if it is meant for adults & kids, then its a bit confusing as there's just too much text and no visuals or images for kids to keep them hooked. For adults great but for kids nada!
