these are really good for the price paid. i wish it was a big bigger, but can't complain and would definitely recommend. certainly value for money

They take the impact out of striking the stitch cutting guide and seem to make cleaner holes. They will get damaged by repeated use, but this is what they are designed for.

These don't work for my purpose. When hitting a leather punch to make a hole, the mat is just too bouncy, which causes the leather itself to ride further up the punch, making it more difficult to pull the punch out of the hole. (Difficult to describe!) . I prefer something more solid.

I use these because I'm fond of hammering stuff.My neighbours where my little workroom is, are not so keen on me hammering stuff.They do dull the noise which spoils my fun a tad but hey, I still get to hammer so all is well.I've actually used them otherwise, for leatherwork, punching, cutting, as weights, even under hot dishes/cups to save warping my cutting mats, lots of stuff.They do also, have a little bounce so please be aware.

These are the best punch mats that I have ever used...I use them for my leatherwork, and it is so easy to punch and remove the tools from the leather without damaging them...Recommended...
