The Times 2 Jumbo Crossword Book 19: 60 Large General-Knowledge Crossword Puzzles (The Times Crosswords)

I love these puzzle books and have purchased ten of them over a period of years. They have a large clear grid to work on and clues that both amuse and confuse you. They provide a good mental work out but are accessable to everyone as they are general knowledge based clues not cryptic.

It is a great crossword book. I love spending a couple of hours in the afternoon doing these crosswords, great for brain training.

I love these crossword books. They are easy to read, and the grid and all the clues are on facing pages, so no turning the page to see a clue. I have all the books in the series and have now finished the last one. Hopefully, another new one will be printed early next year. They are challenging, but have provided hours of enjoyment.

Not quite what I was expecting, much easier than I thought it would be. Whilst it is general knowledge in the main the questions are not as in depth as say The Telegraph General Knowledge books.

Great selection of grids and good quality of recycled paper.

These jumbo crosswords give my wife up to three days of of constant brain work trying to get the thing right. Great!

Keeps your mind active

These books used to be well worth the price - the clues weren't too easy, taxing the brain nicely, and the quality of the paper was excellent and lovely to write on.This latest version is a disappointment. The paper quality is poor but the price has stayed the same.Feel like I'm being ripped off.Won't be buying this again ( I had pre-ordered the next edition, due out in May, but have cancelled it).

I have bought The Time Crossword Jumbo books for years, and have completed them in fountain pen. This one has cheap absorbent paper (it feels like blotting paper). No chance to do my crosswords with my favorite fountain pen.
