will this replace a 35-802893T from Mercury for optimax engine?

I believe the Mercury filter has a finer element then the Quicksilver version. Both fit. Both work. I've been using the Quicksilver version for years on a 4-stroke Mercury 50 EFI. So far, so good. Hope this helps.

I do not know, Mine is separate off the tank for an outboard motor that was installed by a dealer. The filter will tell you what size threads match the system, if it fits it will work. Your manual will tell you what size you need or look at your old filter and type in the serial # for the correct match. BTW my filter is on a 90 HP Evinrude outboard.
