Not suitable for use with LCD tvs
The product itself was received promptly and seemed well made and quite a substantial piece of kit.Unfortunately it is for an old style XBOX and not an XBOX360 (My fault for wrongly assuming things ). However, I also noticed on the packaging when it arrived that it was not suitable for use with LCD tvs either.Has now been returned for a refund and I will pay a bit more attention to what I purchase in future. Hope this stops anyone else from making the same mistake.

a bit jumpy for using it with a snipering game
i have just got my rifle today and i like the space age look of it, but when using the gun with silent scope complete it tens to jump. i think it is a much better gun for shooting at zombies not for sniping. the recoil is really weak but it makes you jump when u turn it on for the first time. i think its worth buying if you have house of the dead 3.and to add turn the brightness of your tv up as fear as u can still see the screen it works so much better.thank you for your time

Won't configure bit of a waste of time
Can't configure gun done everything as instructed back to hand controls I think

THIS IS CLASSIC ORIGINAL XBOX FOR OLD STYLE CRT TV ONLY BUT NO SILENT SCOPE GAME.
Before we start please note that this gun is part of a complete game called SILENT SCOPE that came out on the original Xbox, that's the first xbox the big black console.This gun will only work on a CRT TV (old type TV from the 90's) and will not work on modern TV/monitors LCD, LED, Plasma, 4k.This light gun came with its own game originally but for some what reason its missing the main GAME SILENT SCOPE which is a very good light gun game, we are talking classic xbox here so don't buy for Xbox 360, or Xbox one because it will not work.Great lightgun game in its day and good to get if your a retro game collector and have a old style CRT.This is the gun only so remember that.

Novelty
It is what it looks like, purely a 5 minute novelty. I bought this gun with sniper scope complete. Whithin a few game the control knob on the side of the gun was unresponsive and the novelty quickly wore off. Maybe the gun isnt completely to blame the game should never have left the arcade. The gun is slightly more fun when playing house of the living dead but again it gets boring and the mixture of a poor game and gun left me feeling like a mug for buying it. Save the money youd use to buy it and have a day in the arcades youll get much more fun for your money.
