Truly useful product
I have several networks spanning a couple of buildings. All but one depend on fiber optic while another uses cellular internet. Both serve as backups for one another for the various networks.Although it's straightforward to monitor the gateways, routers, and multiple switches (basically any hardwired components) it's not as easy to make sure the wireless access points are doing what they should because these devices often report that the bandwidths are "enabled" but not whether they're really working. That's where the KeepConnect comes into play. The instruction insert is a bit confusing (perhaps due to the limitations that come from needing to be small enough to fit into the box) but the product is straightforward to use and satisfyingly rich with robust settings for various attempts and timings that affect how many opportunities the wireless access point has to respond, how long to wait after resetting, whether you want a scheduled reset at a certain time a day, etc.The free website is useful for seeing when the device last checked in and for noting how many times the monitored wireless access point needed to be reset. Additionally, the server sends emails and texts to let you know when there was a reset. Frankly, I rarely think about my backup network when my primary network is working, so I otherwise wouldn't know if there was a problem until I actually needed the backup connection. My setup might be out of the ordinary, so this suggestion might have limited benefit to a lot of people: When a wireless access point fails, the KeepConnect power-cycles the device. When the reset is successful, the KeepConnect notifies its server and then an email or text notification is sent. But if that reset fails to solve the problem, you wouldn't know unless you checked the KeepConnect website and noticed that the KeepConnect had not checked in. In other words, the email/text notifications can only alert you after and if the problem was solved. If you have multiple wireless access points in one location, as is the case in my setup, it would be nice if you could enter a backup SSID. That way, when the wireless access point that is being monitored fails, the KeepConnect could temporarily jump onto another wireless access point and send an update (which shouldn't be an issue since it's waiting for service on its assigned wireless access point anyhow). In the best case, you'd receive two notifications: the first alerting you to a problem and the second confirming that it has been resolved. In the worst case, you would only receive the first notification but would then know to follow up. Actually, the very worst case would be both wireless access points not functioning, but then you'd still be no worse off than you are without that feature. My suggestion aside, this is a very useful product.p.s. Some negative reviews have asserted that one has to pay for the monitoring services. That's not how it works. Everything I described above is offered at no extra cost. The for-pay service provides a method of monitoring multiple networks through a single web page.

Nice simple product, reliable
This was simple and easy to use. I don't not pay for premium services. I needed this to recycle power to my tmobile router at a vacation property. With instructions it was easy to configure for weekly recycle. I also get an email when a service loss was detected and it recycled itself. In that email, is a code if I wanted to upgrade to premium. This solved instability and lack of remote access to tmobiles router that is prone to loss of service without ability to remotely fix it. Great buy! I write you this as someone working in tech and familiar with home networking and smart iot devices. I've had this in place for 6 months. I really dont need premium since my iot devices tell me when they go offline. Note: I was and still a little weary of who this mfg is Johnson-Creative llc (overseas company?)

Great little item to help get flakey routers back online
This little device solved a problem in my RV for when the internet would go offline. We move weekly and use a TMobile cell device all over the country. This little device was able to pair to our device and then restart the power when it detects an internet outage. Given that we change locations, this little device helps out quite often as we can easily end up in places with spotty coverage that hangs the router. No more getting up at night to restart the router or not being able to get to our security cameras or smart devices remotely because the router is frozen.I'm only giving it 4 stars because the UI could be a bit more user friendly. I was okay with it, but it's a spot for improvement, and some more options on how it tests would be great.

I didn’t know this device existed!!
I have T-mobile home internet, which is very glitchy. I constantly need to reboot it just so I can get decent speed, but only when I’m home. A lot of times, I can’t access my security cameras/thermostat remotely because my wifi is acting up. But nothing I can do since I’m not home to reboot my router. I just came across this device which I didn’t know even existed!! It reboots my router automatically and I can even set it to reboot on schedule. You can also have it notify you by text or email when it does a reboot. and it’s easy to install. I haven’t had it that long but it’s working very well. There is an older version of this device which I think is oversized. I got the newer one which is smaller and more compact. It does not block the other outlets. At $50, it is a little pricey though. And if you want their online cloud service, that’s another $25 a year. I wish the $50 includes one year of cloud service. Other than that, it’s a great product!! Will post updates if anything changes

Worked for what i needed but....
This reset my router every time I had a wifi outage and worked great. But my problem is deeper than just rebooting, so yes this worked in finding I need a deeper resolution to my problem. It worked so well my router was rebooting every hour, so deeper issue with my problem. Very easy setup but there is a lot of optional setup that is beyond me.

Works but need sub for remote access
The product works as advertised, however to access the device remotely you need to pay for a subscription. It’s not much at $24 a year but to me it wasn’t worth paying.

Love this thing
This device is fantastic. It really works well. Wasn't sure anything like this existed but thanks to the internet I discovered it. Was always having problems when traveling with my wifiand or internet going out and requiring someone to go to my house to reset the system so that my extensive iot devices would work. Sure enough, while on a cruise shortly after installing the device Xfinity decided to work on lines and had their internet service up and down for a couple of days. Each time it went down the KeepConnect would attempt to reboot until service was restored. I ended up plugging other devices into it also like my VOIP since it generally needs to reboot after wifi goes out. Works like a charm for that too. The device can handle up to 1200 watts so you could plug quite a few devices in to it. We'll worth the money.

Works great so far
Easy setup and seems to work-no internet problems for the two weeks I’ve had it-more time needed to fully confirm
