Great book for children about to graduate to elementary school. For children who have already had good preschool experience, some of the topics will be "old hat". The concept of older kids helping little kids and the big building may be new.The book is colorful and brief.Each page can elicit dialogue from the child.The transition to the next level of education can be exciting and challenging.

Daughter was nervous about going to a new school and we read a few books about Kindergarten and she loved them, i think they helped a bit :)

This is a lovely book. However, if the child you are buying it for has gone to full-time preschool for several years, it will seem redundant and they will have done everything that it mentioned in the book for kindergarten.

I bought this as a preschool gift and they read it before going to the new schooli would definitely recommend this book
