Edit: update, there are similar products for the same price that are much sturdier: 2" connecting balls, and much sturdier cross pieces have reinforcements running the length of them.These are not to the scale they are shown in the photos! They’re basically long straws and ping pong balls with holes in them! They dont hold up at all when you put them together, the thin straws bend and droop under their own weight.

This came with a large number of pieces for endless building fun. It was a great way to get the kids away from the TV and to build all sorts of forts. Just throw a bed sheet over your newly built structure to complete the illusion!

This is a good building kit. It has a lot more pieces than previous similar building kits I've seen and had. It's also at a smaller scale than those others, which may be an advantage for what you're looking for. Good build quality for the small pieces.

I am so happy I took the chance with this construction set. My kids are now asking for more sets because they are so busy creating different designs. It's currently a mainstay in my living room. I have 4 kids 11 and under and they are all involved in the building play.

The rods are very sharp and dangerous. The balls are so hard to put the rods in that rods were broke first time we used it. I would not let my kids put this together by themselves. If I could return it, I would.

This building kit was a great buy. My kids play with it for hours building structures and covering them with blankets to make forts. Disassembly is easy so it can be put away quickly. I'll probably buy another kit to make an even bigger fort!

My son is 3 and he enjoyed building. He built a tent, wheel, pinwheel, and boxes. Stem toys very education and allowing him to use his imagination. Product is holding up well.
