Fantastic product! Great when using/installing barrel hinges. Very good quality and it has everything you need to get started with any type of doweling project.

this is a pretty good jig but has its limitations for sure. for just joining edge boards it works fine but limited for center shelves where the dowels are not close to the edge of the board.

There are other similar products but this is different and stands out.If you are just looking for center alignment this is not right but what is the user of center aligning when you can't make repeatable holes on multiple wood pieces and corresponding dowels on face plate.I have used two other different products and no where close to this in terms of precision. Looking for better jig for long to make closets and drawers. Some reviewer point to alignment but that's not really issue with this tool. If you are really upto dowels means you can adjust it and no other tool is close to this. Again this is NOT self centering tool, but once you get it center aligned you keep going both on edge and face plate without struggling how to get dowel holes on face plate.The main benefit is, you can make dowel holes on both faceplate and the edge piece. Look no further. Build quality is excellent.Update: After using for few months, I make cam screw holes with breeze. Now I make all my boxes with cam lock fasteners with help of this tool.Other thing you don't really need to be center aligned if you are using this tool. Also for edge alignment stopper is bonus and never really need to measureUpdate2: I didn't get 1/4" guide bushes with this tool, though it is not show stopper for me. But it should have been included. Sure will buy another set if they give these additional guide bushes

Works great but could be a lot more useful and accurate if there were register marks to annotate the centers of the three hole bushings. Ended up doing it myself with a utility knife and my holes line up much more accurately.

I was building some cabinet doors and naively thought I could drill even starlight holes. Although the instruction for this product was a little hard to understand for set up, I quickly figured it out and had even drilled holes in my wood for the doors

The drill bits are made cheap. Broke a drill bit that was approximately 5/16 diameter in wood. I will not buy another one.

I loved this jig for the price. It is versatile enough to drill all the holes for an ikea-style cam lock joint. I also used it to make doweled butt joints.It includes 4 drill-bits and depth collars for each. I used it with 3/4” particleboard and 5/16” dowel pins. It is pretty easy to adjust the center for different thicknesses of material as long as they are close.The only part that is not adjustable is the setback of the cam nut: i needed to buy 15x16mm cam locks with a matching 45mm dowel pin. These were easy to find at the hardware store or online.
