If you are adding CarPlay to an older BMW or many, this is the best priced, quickly delivered option. It was easy to install, I just removed the head unit and plugged this in the correct port on the back of the unit. It only fits one way. I then routed the wire down to the front of the console and stuck it to the inside of the console with the included double stick tape. It performs well and must get excellent reception as my phone connects immediately open power up. I have the unit hidden in my application but it looks like and if you were forced to stick it out in the open it has an OEM appearance that would not create an eyesore. I recommend this to anyone wanting to add CarPlay or Android Auto to an older BMW or Mini.

Installed on my motorcycle as I didn't want the old huge antenna on it. I rarely use the radio these days, so I wanted to hide the antenna.

Used this for my wife’s Bmw that did not come equipped with Apple CarPlay. After I coded it out and installed Apple CarPlay I needed to add wifi antenna for optimal usage. Once installed, it works as if the car came with the service factory installed. For $10 this piece blew my mind on how great and useful of a device it is..

It was only $6 so it was worth a shot. I tried it in my 07 Chevy truck because the antenna broke off. I mistakenly pulled the wire out from inside the dash without pulling a new one through to replace it. Now if I get a new antenna it's going to be a nightmare trying to run the wire through the dash to the stereo. I saw this and figured it was worth a shot. I wasn't expecting miracles but there wasn't any improvement in picking up stations with this compared to no antenna at all. This is one of those instances where you get what you pay for...i would save your $6 and try something else.

The antenna adheres well to any flat surface. The sticky side is black so it doesn't stand out if mounted on a window. The wire is very thin and flexible, so it's easy to hide if you have too much. It was absolutely plug and play and actually outperformed an exterior stick antenna. (I'm baffled as to how that could be, but it is). The key is to try it in several places before mounting it.
