its a really nice computer I'm glad I can decide how hard my fans run and other things the i9 processor is really nice addition it helps my work flow with editing and also playing games overall I'm vary happy I'm not a huge tech person but this is something that feels really nice for the price especially with having a more metallic feeling on the shell vary nice

MSi is always a solid gaming laptop for me and i have had more than one through the years. My last one was a great laptop that I had for about 10 years. It gave all it could until the battery just couldn't hold a charge anymore and I needed a newer one for the games coming out anyways. This one is no exception to the quality, my games are running so smooth and crisp. The single gripe I have, and there is no real way around it, is that the laptop runs hot and the fan will run hard for all games....and run loud. My lightest stress game is Football Manager and the laptop runs hot, as does my Destiny, Fallout and Elder Scrolls. My only concern is fan burnout down the line, but cross that bridge, you know? All games are gonna stress out a gaming laptop, but that's just how it is with a lot of hardware in a small space. On the plus side, it warms a cold room pretty fast with the heat it blows out so..glass half full, yeah? Happy gaming, y'all!

I’m a casual gamer, I bought this beast on sale. It is by the far the fastest computer I have ever used and it runs great with all the games I’ve played so far! A+!!

Biggest issue is the 240w power supply makes this iritating high pitch squeal when the laptop is off or sleeping. Sounds like a mosquito buzzing around the room and you can hear it from 20ft away. I have to unplug the laptop when not in use it’s so annoying.I contacted MSI support and they maybe will send me another one but only if I return it half way across Canada first. Like 3000km away is the closest (and only) support depo. I use this laptop for work so no I can’t just not use it for several weeks. Send me another power supply you crooks! So yeah support is abysmal.Other issues:-SSD makes drive seek noise.-power cord is so short the laptop has to either be at the edge of the desk or else the brick has to be up on the desk where is makes irritating noise.-MSI center demands you agree to a contract that allows them to do a credit check on you. Had to block it using the firewall.-Can only output to one external HDMI device at once.-Screen is 1080p and not 4k-can’t turn the screen off without turning off the external monitor-built in speakers are terrible-built in webcam is terrible 720p-hdmi plug is on right side which gets in the way of my mouse hand. Hdmi cables are large and thick and stick straight out.So yeah, not really the greatest. It also gets pretty loud when gaming. But that’s kind of expected. It is a fast machine and otherwise seems to be working well after the first 3 months.

I had to return the computer after I received it and found a problem with the sound, I needed a computer for my work but Amazon did not refund me immediately after receiving the return. First customer service told me that the return had been received but then denied it, which is very ridiculous, second they can hold all customer refunds for a while and earn free interest, don't buy anything worth more than $1000 from Amazon, it doesn't deserve it！
