[BRASS BODY 3/4'' Brass 2 WAY Double Outside Tap Adaptor Garden Irrigation Hose Connectors-Two Way Brass Tap Manifold Y Style Garden Hose

After purchasing a plastic 4 way manifold last year that started leaking and then cracked I have decided to invest in a brass one. This product seems of solid construction with 2 outlets both controlled by a seperate chromed ball valve. The fitting goes directly onto the tap with no problem, I did have to change the o ring to a washer to make the hose tap connector fit, or you could use the Hoselock type fitting to connect it. You can buy a kit containing spare washers and o rings quite cheaply from Amazon too.The product arrived quickly from Amazon and was well packaged as usual, this was on a free delivery option as I ordered a spray gun, seal kit and the manifold fitting totalling over £20

Works very well

this is a really neat little splitter - i tried one of the plastic ones before which leaked at all th seams. you do need to add a washer and PTFE tape. its not as easy to tighten as a connector suitable for use with a spanner. overall though very happy!

Seemed to be good quality. Taps were very stiff on first use, but after that are fine. Screwed right on, no leaks. All good.

Does the job

Seems alright, only issue is. One latch is a bleeder to use as it’s sooooo stiff, had to use pliers to shut it off. The other sides lever works fine but when it’s shut on that side it still lets out a little water so it’s 98% shut. Very strange. But it’ll do for now! One side where you have to screw on hose attachments wasn’t threaded right so it was a naff to screw bits onto,but eventually it went on.

Value for money

Delighted with this item, fits well, no leaks holds both hoses well. Saves some aggravation when needing a different hose to the usual watering one. Should have bought it some time ago rather than the plastic one that did not do the job.
