Oxo Good Grips Professinal Series 8 (20cm) Serrated Edge Bread Knife

OK it's sold as a bread knife but it is so sharp and Such a pleasure to use, that I find I am using it for other things, ie thin slices of cucumber, soft tomatoes.. etc . And yes, even on warm soft bread, it can cut it without squashing. This is the ideal wedding present or gift to friends, I am a real fan of OXO kitchenware, and this is my No 1

This knife is strangely hard to use and cut straight, like a broken shopping trolly.. it veers off to the right when you cut. The price is very misleading with regards to the quality. Really disappointed and would like to discover why this is the case? Thanks

We bought this knife after several other brands had failed in a few months. This one works and has lasted much better. It is comfortable to hold and it cuts soft, floppy bread and the firmer stuff equally well. Recommended.
