Sturdy, universal fit, highly recommend!
Brilliant product. It is sturdy, and replaced my current one easily without hassle. Definitely recommend and pretty universal fit. The water comes out with more pressure with this one than with the original spray gun my wall mounted hose came with originally, despite all adjustments.

Quality that looks the part
I have brought 2 of these hose guns because they were advertised as being made of aluminium, not like a lot of other hose guns which are made of plastic. These are by the looks of them a real good product and very well made. They are very good value for the money that's for sure, which I am hoping will last me for a good many years to come.

Quite well made and has withstood knocks
We have had this for 6 months, and it works perfectly well. It seems well-made, very sturdy and has withstood a few drops onto paving slabs. No leaks at all so far. There are two minor negative points (1) The lever/trigger spring is very firm, and for most people this will not be a problem, but my wife and I have hand arthritis, and it can be quite tiring/painful if operating it for a short while. (2) It is very difficult to engage and release the locking mechanism.

Impressed with the design and quality
Our old Hozelock fell apart and we were looking for a replacement, preferably with a metal body. The Draper seemed to tick all the boxes. It is early days yet and we have only used it a few times, however it seems to be well made and designed and certainly does the job it is made for. I'm hoping the metal body might offer a bit more protection from the elements. The old plastic spray was fine but unfortunately became brittle with cold weather. I'm tempted to keep this one in the winter when I swith the hose water supply off.

Poor quality. Only lasted 5 months
Five months in with very light use and the spray gun does not shut off properly anymore. Suspect this is a poorly made unit with cheap rubber seals inside which no longer close the water off. Very disappointing. Usually hose heads last me 2 to 3 years this one barely 5 months.

Adequate, just.
I bought this to replace another brand (a well-known blue one) that split and started leaking after just two years. This one is functional and fairly cheap, all things considered. If you're after something budget-friendly and decent enough, it’ll probably do the job. It's too early to comment on its long-term durability — I’ll update on that in time. That said, there are a couple of annoyances. First, the spray selection is only adequate — and some settings tend to ‘drip’ a bit. The chosen spray works, but it also leaks slightly, which is frustrating. Second, the locking catch that keeps the spray trigger engaged is quite fiddly. It’s awkward to set and even more awkward to release. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. It’s just about fine for the price — hence the three-star rating.
