Evolution Power Tools - Project FURY3-XL Multi-Purpose Sliding Mitre Saw, 255 mm (230 V) with FURY Multipurpose Blade

I do some aluminium work and I was tired of using jigsaw. When I found this product I decided to leave a question about how it goes with aluminium and I got many positive answers (thanks everyone for helping me). As soon as it arrived I couldn't wait: set up the saw (I also bought the mitre saw stand, took me about 15 mins to finish all setup) to chop out some aluminium tubes. It doesn't event heat up the tube! With square tubes (2 inch with 1/4 thickness) cuts like butter! When cutting, don't put strength and don't rush, just let the saw go do the job. It's been only couple of hours of work so I don't know how long the blade will last, but I very pleased and I wish I had bought it before. Of course, make sure the work piece is well attached and always wear all protective gear, there will be a lot aluminium flakes flying around!

Excellent piece of kit. I'd been contemplating purchasing a mitre saw for a while and decided to take the plunge in preparation for building a fence. I'm a keen DIY'er so I wanted a balance of cost and reliability. I'm more than pleased with this having assessed many alternatives with other sellers e.g. Screwfix. I like the saw, it's easily to assemble, use, with an excellent depth and range of cutting and power. I just needed to get used to the length of the piece that I'm cutting and where the laser illuminates. After ~3 tries it was clear.I purchased this with the corresponding table to ensure that it was at the correct working height. If I had to keep bending down I probably wouldn't have used it so much. Overall, knowing what I know now, would I buy it again? The answer is most definitely YES.

My husbands review: I saw this product in B&Q and was incredibly impressed with the build quality. But found it much cheaper on Amazon. It is a really good multipurpose sliding mitre saw. I used to cut up 6x2 inch timber without any trouble, if you go slowly across the cut you get a nice clean edge. It does foldaway into a relatively small space, but it is not the smallest of saws. Others have mentioned that the angles are not particularly accurate I have not found this to be true, straight out of the box it gave me accurate 45° cuts. The vacuum cleaner attachment does not particularly do much, sawdust just spells out the back of the machine . There are one or two extra add-ons like a clamp etc which are really useful. Delivery was painless and incredibly fast.

I have used this just for building an area of decking in the garden, so far: and it was certainly man enough for the task. So I have confidence that it will cope with everything I'm likely to need it for in the future.There were just a couple of niggles. It came with only one workpiece support bar, when the booklet inside said there should be two. I took this up with the manufacturer and they happily supplied an extra one for me, though apparently the booklet was incorrect and is being changed.A couple of items of the plastic trim are a bit ill-fitting: the round cap end to the handle that sets the lateral mitre keeps coming off, so will need gluing on; also the piece at the rear attached to the screw thread that sets the vertical mitre is a bit loose.Apart from these items, the machine itself feels very robust and solid.

I am very impressed with the well thought out design which makes the saw more useful than I had expected. After using it for a few days I saw some professional shop fitters using one and talked to them. They recommended the saw table which looked very good and reasonably priced so I bought one. My only gripe is that it would have been helpful if the manufacturers had provided a dust bag or an adaptor for a vacuum cleaner hose.or ideally both.with the saw.

I am really happy with this saw. I am only a home user but I couldn't decide whether to get the Fury or the Rage. Both seemed good for my requirements and in the end I just opted for the cheaper option to be honest. It was only a £10 difference but the reviews of the Fury were better than the Rage...Upon receiving I found the saw came build already so I didn't have to mess around. I have read that the Rage doesn't so thats a bonus. The laser was aligned correctly out of the box. I could basically pull this thing out the box and use it straight away and that exactly what I did.I purchased this saw to help with a project of mine to build a playhouse for my son. My hand saw skills are pretty bad and I didn't want to mess around with a circular saw.The sliding feature is superb I am glad I went for it. I was going to buy a Bosch mitre saw as I have a bit of an attraction to bosch when I buy tools but this was cheaper and you got a lot more for your money.I can't say a single bad word against it. Its a great purchase, one I am glad I made.Can't wait to start some new projects and see what other things I can make.

Unsurprisingly, there have been lots of good reviews for this sliding miter saw: it is not too noisy in action and cuts with accuracy and very little tear out, meaning that cuts need much less finishing than with some chop saws I have used. I have cut both soft woods and hard woods and the saw goes through it all smoothly and without fuss or labour providing you cut steadily and without undue pressure. The laser guide is helpful and the adjustable end stop effective if you need to make multiple cuts of the same length. It has an adjuster screw for cutting joints for half housings or even tongues for tenons. All in all, I cannot fault it: No doubt there are much more expensive professional saws on the market, but I use this professionally too, although not all day everyday and I believe that this will give good service over time.

Blade slipping won't stay tight for any length if time and the same can be said for the slide. Double triple checked both and still came loose. Second machine in a week this replacement turned out to be just as bad if not more dangerous to use. 30 mins I got befote i called it a day. Not taking any more chances in this. Obviously not much quality or safety control at evolution. 2 bad machines in less than one week. I shall not be ordering a second replacement.

Top Säge...Ich hatte in den letzten Jahren schon mehrere Kappsägen, von Namhaften Herstellern wie Bos.. Blau und Meta..Auch leider einmal eine vom Baumarkt die am selben Tag zurück gegangen ist.Ich arbeite zwar nur Hobby mäßig mit der Säge aber auch da kommt es mir auf Präzision an.Da ich viel mit Epoxid und Holz arbeite, war es mir wichtig das diese beides sauber schneiden kann.Nachdem meine Metabo nach 5 Jahren den dienst quittiert hat musste was neues her.Ich habe lange überlegt und mir auch einige Sägen angeschaut.Da ich bereits die Evolution Tischkreissäge besitze und mit ihr wirklich sehr zufrieden bin, schaute ich mir das Angebot an Gehrungssägen von Evolution an.Die Fury 3XL ist sehr sauber verarbeitet und stabil.Nachdem ich die Säge justiert habe kamen die ersten Probeschnitte.Und ich muss sagen sie wurden meinen Erwartungen gerecht.Die Schnittkanten sind sehr sauber und die Winkel passen zu 99 Prozent.Der erste schnitt auf 20cm 90° hatte 89,9° und der zweite auf 45° hatte 45,1° besser schafften es die Vorgänger auch nicht.Der Schnitt durch 3 x 18cm Holz mit Epoxidharz ging Butterweich durch.Der Laser passt genau, ist aber leider nicht so hell wie erwartet.Die Lautstärke ist ok.Die Absaugung ist wie bei allen Sägen eine Katastrophe, aber das ist normal.Das selbe Problem hatten die Vorgänger auch, aber mit einem selbstgebauten Absaugtrichter direkt hinter dem Anschlag vom Sägetisch kann man es minimieren.Vor und Nachteile: + Deutsche Bedienungsanleitung + Gehrungsverstellung, Zug- und Kappfunktion gut und sehr leichtgängig + Verarbeitung sehr gut + Lautstärke ist ok + Schnittkanten sauber und genau + Kräftiger Motor mit Sanftanlauf + Einfach und genau zu Justieren - Schwacher Laser - AbsaugungMein Fazit zu der Säge:Absolut Top...Für den Preis unschlagbar.Da können sich andere Hersteller mal ein Beispiel daran nehmen.....Eine klare Kaufempfehlung und 5 Sterne.

scie de très bonne qualité et de bonne précision pour un bricoleur même expérimenté.Sa lame multi matériaux est bluffante d'efficacité.a coupé plusieurs tubes acier 30x30x2, plusieurs coupe de rondin d'aluminium de 50mm de diamètre,de tole d'alu de 3mm d'épaisseur et du bois bien sur ainsi que des tubes pvc de diamètre 100. je tiens à préciser qu'il ne faut pas forcer non plus et laisser à la lame le temps de faire son travail...La scie est précise et agréable en fonctionnement, pas trop bruyante avec un démarrage très progressif et une vitesse de rotation qui parait assez faible à la premiere mise en route mais qui est justifié par le type de lame multi materiauxLe seul reproche que j'aurais à lui faire est le trait du laser qui "bave" un peu.

La encargue, al final tome la decisión y la compre. estaba realmente interesado en la fury 3s 210 mm, pero amazon prime tardaba una semana en servirla y la necesitaba, para hacer unos trabajos, sin falta el lunes siguiente, aunque esta no llegaría hasta el martes, así que sacrifique mi interés por la pequeña y compre la grande. Esto era el sábado cuando hice el pago, con paypal. ya era feliz poseedor de una fury, aunque algo crecida, para mi gusto y necesidad. el lunes a las 8 miro en amazon y el precio de la pequeña, había bajado considerablemente de la noche a la mañana, con lo cual mi sacrificio empezaba a estar injustificado y mas me valía esperar, tres días mas y comprar la pequeña. Intento hacer la devolución y me dicen que es imposible, porque la mercancía ya esta en transito, cuando el programa de seguimiento me daba, que aun no había salido de los almacenes, tal y como quedo el sábado al efectuar la compra y todo el domingo. Siendo así me jodí y renuncie a mi verdadera elección y al ahorro económico que conllevaba.la entrega prevista para el martes antes de las 10 pm. el martes a las 7 me llega un correo de amazon comunicándome que no mela podían entregar, por un problema de logística, que podrían tardar 24 o 48 horas mas o sea un día menos que la fury pequeña. No tengo que describiros los dolores de vientre que tuve en ese momento. Un vecino me hablo de un teléfono de atención al cliente de amazon, bastante difícil de encontrar en la web por cierto. 11 horas pm del lunes, al otro lado de la linea un chico de acento latino, le advierto de mi frustración con amazon y no con él personalmente. El aguanto el chaparrón, casi diluvio que le cayo encima, con toda estoicidad y corrección. Sacó el capote y pase de pecho, pase natural, verónicas varias y chicuelinas cuelgo el teléfono. 10 minutos después suena mi teléfono, al otro lado la misma voz que 10 minutos antes se despidió de mi habiéndome dejado relejado y manso. no recuerdo su nombre pero seguro que debería empezar con " San" de santo porque era digno de ser nombrado santo., le comunico que mañana antes de las 10 de la mañana tiene usted su paquete en su casa, he contactado directamente con logística y les he informado del problema causado y solo me queda pedirle mil disculpas en nombre de amazon etc etc...Sinceramente gente como este chico, que trabajaba a las 11 de la noche, para escuchar las frustraciones de los clientes y sufrir nuestras muestras de desafeccion, son los que salvan verdaderamente a estas grandes compañías , cuyos gerentes descansan, plácidamente en sus casas, con los lujos que sus sueldos les garantizan, gracias a estos trabajadores, siguen existiendo, porque al final el salvo los muebles y conservo al cliente. Desde aquí mi mas sincero y enorme agradecimiento a esta persona cuyo nombre no recuerdo por su cortesía y su profesionalidad y por encima de todo su valía personal.la sierra ingletadora ? pues genial pesada como ella sola y voluminosa como ella sola, pero genial, silenciosa, el motor se activa y adquiere su máxima potencia en tres segundos y cando quito el dedo del gatillo se frena inmediatamente , cortes limpios y ajustados . hay un detalle que le falta y es una inscripción métrica a lo ancho para no tener que andar con la cinta métrica, pero que le vamos a hacer, sino seria la diosa ingletadora .

Comprata ormai da un bel po usata svariate volte con diversi materiali versatile robusta e di buona precisione la lama multimateriale si comporta egregiamente insomma ottimo acquisto per uso semiprofessionale

je recommande cette scie elle est très précise. A la longue il faut penser à réajuster le laser qui peut se désaxer mais aucune difficulté il y à des vis prévu pour et ce dernier pivote afin de le réajuster au besoin s'il vient à perdre de la précision.J’utilise cette scie depuis plusieurs mois elle à une très large profondeur de coupe et est parfaitement adaptée même pour les grande sections/hauteur de coupe.A ce jour 50m² de parquet réalisé avec des coupes multiples à 45° et plusieurs centaine de mètres de bastaings ou solives coupées et la lames est comme neuve
