Happy with the bargain but not deserving of rave reviews
As other reviewers have said, it comes without selvage & frays easily. I would recommend that you serge or singe the warp length edges before washing. I thought the quality was fine. It’s what I would call medium weight. I was pleased that it wasn’t as thin as I was expecting. I bought it to use as dress lining & I think it will work fine as that. I did notice some flaws in the fabric & what appears to be a small burn hole in one place. I don’t think I would buy his fabric I use as my outer fashion fabric for a dress or something like that, but it is fine for lining, costuming & crafts. I would expect it to wear poorly, I think it will catch on things easily & pull threads but I don’t know yet. If you were planning on using it as your outer fashion fabric, I would buy extra yardage to accommodate flaws & don’t expect wedding dress/ball gown level fabric. I saw a review that was disappointed that it wasn’t silk, it’s definitely listed as a “silky” polyester & that’s what it is. It’s inexpensive & has its issues which is why its being sold at this price. You get what you pay for. Overall, I’m happy with the bargain but it doesn’t get rave reviews. It’s meh. Not a rip off but also not really worth recommending.

Pretty but lightweight.
Lavender color is accurate but it’s thinner than I expected and has no selvages, so it frays easily. On the plus side, it takes starch well and that makes it easier (less slippery) to work with.
