Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 DUAL SIM 32GB SIM-Free Smartphone - Gold

Its early days yet, having only had this phone for 24 hours, but, so far so very good.The phone arrived on next day delivery and set up was very straightforward. This is the dual SIM version of this phone and the SIM 1 is located in the side of the phone, with SIM 2 co-located with the SD card in the top of the phone.It is too early to accurately comment on battery life, performance etc. but it was heavily used during its first day and performed well, and the battery consumption suggested it will easily cope with a normal days usage and then some.One general recommendation that I would make, not specifically aimed at this phone, is that I ordered a soft TPU case (protects back and sides) and tempered glass screen protector at the same time as this phone, as I have found these work really well and keep the phone in that 'as new' look for months (or even years) to come.

This is a superb piece of equipment and the dual SIM arrangement has allowed me conveniently to use SIMs for the UK and internationally. As the international SIM can also be used in the UK it allows me to use the phone in some areas where my UK provider has no coverage. The phone itself is well made, as you would expect from Samsung, and has so many layers of user choice in its functionality that it can be configured to suit most needs. It looks as if this particular device is aimed at the middle eastern market buts that's no stopper for its use elsewhere. I understand from its specification though that one band used in the UK for 4G by EE and Vodaphone, namely 2.6GHz channel 7, isn't supported by this phone. Other 4G bands are available though. It's a good buy and excellent value for money.

Very good product, the battery keeps 1 and half days
