I love the material, but it doesn’t fit my jars
It was a long shot to have a Weck seal fit. I carefully measured the seal from a “Ball Ideal” jar. It measures 80mm (3-1/8”) outer diameter and 65mm (2-5/8) inner diameter. This Weck seal is ACTUALLY 86mm (3-1/2”) OD and 74mm (2-7/8”) ID. As this is already open, I guess I’ll buy some Weck storage jars now *shrug*?

Not quite heavy enough
All my gaskets seemed to go bad at once. These are an adequate replacement but a little too light weight for my purpose. My fault, not theirs, since there were several thicknesses. I just picked wrong.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do
This is a simple item. One of those things that makes the world go around. It provides a seal and cushion just as it should with a quality that one should expect. It just does it's job. Nothing fancy, utilitarian, just like it should be. Order the right size and all is good. Thanks.
