The packs are narrow which makes them mould around your body well and can be on your back without impacting lying down.They don’t hold their heat for very long but there are two to keep swapping out

Happy with the purchase. Haven’t tried heating it but pretty satisfied with the ice pack.

Not microwave safe
It states in the description that this item can be warmed in the microwave. However on the item it specially says it cannot be put in the microwave. This now removes the exact reason I purchased this item!

Not microwavable
The product looks good, but to be used as a hot pack, it should go into boiling water which is such a hassle. I prefer options that are microwavable.
