These do the job overall, but there’s one thing worth mentioning. I bought these for my 6-year-old daughter’s bedroom. She’s autistic and likes to repeatedly play with the light switch, so I was hoping these would stop that. The guard itself is roughly the same width as the switch plate, which meant she could still reach around the side and turn the light on and off. My workaround was putting two guards next to each other, which actually solved the problem and stopped her accessing the switch from the side. A suggestion for the manufacturer would be to make the guard slightly wider than the switch plate, which would prevent access from the sides and make it more effective. One thing I will say though — the double-sided tape strips are excellent. I normally struggle with double-sided tape, but the way these are packaged makes them really easy to apply and I had no issues at all. Easy to install, good quality, and once I doubled them up they worked well for what I needed.

Perfect product for baby proofing / and or for those children who are sensory seekers. My son who has ASD loves to flick electrical switches, which stressed me out. Wish I'd found this product sooner. Excellent value for money. Easy to fit. Still able to use switch with product over the top

Does a great job. Having solved the problem in the grandsons room, I think I will have to buy more.

These are great for obstructing the switch from curious fingers. I use them to stop people from switching off the lights at the switch as I have Hue lighting and also for my mother who has Alzheimer’s and will constantly mess with lights otherwise. They’re quite easy to bypass with a finger nail if you know how but stop the less persistent and at least make people think about using the smart switch if there’s one there.

The product states that the internal dimension is 3.5cm, but it is only 3.1cm hence it only sticks to the top of the cover and sticks to the bottom edge of the light switch. Does stop accidentally turning off . Will see if it stays put
