Vango Stainless Steel Camping Kettle With Folding Handle

after reading all the reviews on this item i was thinking it was very poor quality and was not worth the money but thought i would take a chance on it an if it was as said in reviews i would return it but it came the same day i was greatly surprised to see it used it an used now several times i can not fault it presently the thing i can say against it that its a 2 mug kettle but then again its a camping kettle so i guess it would be small recommended to all buy with confidence edit after ten days use the handle melted badly so so dangerous do not buy

Spent ages looking for a folding kettle with a whistle for camping. Most don't have a whistle so you need to keep an eye on it bit with this i can just get on with breakfast. Not too big so you don't waste gas boiling up too much water, if im doing coffee for two i just fill the coffee cup with water and pour it in twice so i get exactly the right amount of water.Feels sturdy, looks good and pours well!

I have a very small backpacker's kettle that I used for two of us "couple camping", it was too small - two boils for tea; or four boils for tea and noodles for two. Too much!!This 1.6 litre kettle is ideal for two people, half full it'll do two cuppas, full it'll do them along with some dehydrated food, such as noodles or pots of oats. It's lightweight, and whistles.The size of it, and some fragility, means it's for car-based camping and not backpacking, but otherwise it's a fine kettle.

This kettle is great apart from the fact that when it arrived the whistle had broken off in the box so now instead of getting on with things while away I need to be standing at the kettle to make sure I turn ot off when it's boiling!! Also using this kettle on our 2nd trip I've noticed that there is alot of rust spots all over the inside of the kettle,not very safe using a kettle with rust in!!overall nit happy at all.

Please don't buy this item it looks good on the site but it is made of poor materials, mine broke after 4 weeks of use .

I’m sorry to say that this kettle is awful. The handle gets hot and the plastic releases toxic smelling fumes when heating.I wanted to get a refund, but I have missed my window, which is a shame, as it will be going in the bin! (I wouldn’t want to pass it on to any unsuspecting charity shop customers!)

Good kettle for a camping stove or caravan hob. NOT to be used on a mains gas hob as the handle gets very hot.One minor complaint and that is that the whistle is too quite. Other than that it's a useful and functional kettle.

Neat and fits in my caravan sink when travelling
