It took me a little while to get into this story, but once I was then I couldn't put it down.I loved all the characters, the twisted storyline and all the secrets coming home to roost.Bass proved to be the bad boy book boyfriend that we had hints of. You definitely want him on your side. He would burn the world down for Rocklin even though he knows that she is a total boss babe and can fend for herself.They were the perfect support and foil for each other - The new King and Queen of Greyson.

This book was everything I ever wanted for Bass Bishop. He deserved his HEA and he got the perfect one for him. I loved every single second of this story, including the appearances of the Brayshaws. This book is a must read for sure.

Far too convoluted. Too many twists and turns and no explanations. Didn’t care enough to finish it. A shame, I heard good things about it

I read a lot of books in this genre, and I have to say this is up there with some of the worst books I've ever read. I kept having to go back pages to make sure I hadn't skipped over anything because where it finished on one page it didn't make any sense where it started in the next. It was an incredibly long book but somehow lacked detail. The storyline was awful and probably could have been done better in a book the third of its size. I would not bother reading this, I only finished it because I kept hoping it would get better.

ahhh I have been waiting for Bass’s story since The Brayshaw series and he did not disappoint! I will say whilst he has appeared in previous series, this can be read as a stand-alone / start to a new series. It’s not necessary to read The Brayshaw series but it is fun to see little snippets of the old gang.But this is Bastian and Rocklin’s book and it was everything I hoped for! This had so much action and plot twists and crazy mind twisting moments of what is going on with some great angst built up. There were times that I was so confused with what was happening but you just have to trust the process! I enjoyed the new world that was created at Greyson Elite with all the corrupt leaders and mafia heads sending their kids to a selective school. Which was ruled by Girls, which hell yes to girl power!Although some of Rocklins choices did annoy me I did really like her as a character and thought she had some girl power moments. She was the spoilt mafia princess but she had a cunning mind and sharp claws. And I loved that she submitted to Bastian and let him lead and despite this being a rich girl/ poor bad boy story, the power dynamics didn’t always show that and I liked that Bass showed who was boss.There was also plenty of angst created between the two and I liked the push and pull they had. But trust me the chemistry between the two was still smoking! If you are looking for a possessive alpha bad boy who isn’t afraid to go after he wants, with touch her and die vibes, and an equally powerful female main character who likes to show people who are boss then this is the book for you!I’m a big fan of Meagan Brandys and it was great to be back in the Brayshaw/ Greyson world. I can’t wait for the series to continue!
