Premium TV at this cost
Bought 65 inches TV. Thanks to Toshiba support team, got the installation completed in a giffy. TV looks premium. Watched it for couple of hours. Here are my observationsPositive points1) Brilliant colours2) Very good resolution3) Deep contrasts4) Audio is loud and clear. Built in woofer fits best5) HD up scaling is good6) Slim TV7) Remote is good. You have many hot buttonsNot that good1) SD content up scaling looks bad2) Blooming effect (in blooming test) is visible. However it’s not observable in normal videos3) 60Hz - Screen lag is visible in fast paced scenes (Tested with 120Hz 4K videos)4) Colours looks bit saturatedI feel 3 & 4 shall be resolved by few tweaks in settings. Will update.5) Screen reflecting (May not be an issue if watch in dim light)Yet to check1) Connectivity options2) Dolby content / HDR ContentEdit 22-Jul: Watching this TV for the past 5 days. Sound is premium. I have Apple TV (Like Amazon Firestick but 3X costly and 2X better), and I connected to this TV. Viewing Experience is premium. I would say experience is same as Sony higher end models or LG OLED models when watching 4K contentsQuick math and my personal opinion - This TV (70K) + Apple TV (17K) together will beat 65 inch TVs priced at 1.8 to 2.5 lakhs

Extremely Poor Service Experience with Toshiba TV Support
I am highly disappointed with Toshiba's after-sales service. It's been over 72 hours since I raised a service request, and there has been no resolution or technician visit. The call centre is completely ineffective, offering no updates or options for escalation.Customers are left with no accountability, and the entire process feels unprofessional and frustrating. For a brand like Toshiba, this level of support is unacceptable.Request immediate action and a proper escalation path. If unresolved, I will be forced to take this matter up publicly and with consumer forums.

An Excellent Purchase. Buy it with your eyes closed!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this TV after a fair amount of Research. I was about to buy the Toshiba QLED when this new model with Mini LED got launched. I own a LG 55inch Smart LED.I looked at different models in Stores (Samsung, LG, Sony and One Plus) and one thing became clear to me that Sony, LG and OnePlus outperformed Samsung, TCL and other Brands. Couldn't find a Toshiba in stores but I could make out the difference in Quality between QLED and LED and OLED. Mini LED is an Upgrade to QLED.When it comes to a great flat panel TV it's not just the hardware specs (panel, audio) but also the Software (scaling algorithm, color production) that makes a huge difference to overall experience. It was clearly noticeable to me when I compared TCL TVs which offered great specs on paper but watching the same content side by side in TCL QLED vs even LG LED, the latter outperformed in overall experience. The excellent sound quality with theater level volume (50W) outperformed most TVs that I saw in store. The only TV that probably beat this was the OnePlus with built in 70W speakers. But hey, I wasn't really bothered about the sound quality because I have an external Sony home theatre HT 40..but after a few days of experience I have disconnected the external soundbar and tower speakers and I feel the overall experience of the TV Speakers is all in all similar if not better.I am pleased to share that Toshiba has nailed it in both departments - Hardware and Software and managed to deliver Sony level Quality at half the price.I was finally tied between investing 99K in a OnePlus QLED vs Toshiba Mini LED and I am glad I settled for the latter and got a similar quality at 30% cheaper price. The TV was delivered and installed promptly and professionally within 48 hours.Well done Toshiba! This one is a winner!P.S. The only minor regret that I have with this overall purchase experience is that the seller reduced the price by 2000 during the 3 days of Freedom Sale. I bought on Day 1 and paid an extra 2000.

Happy I brought it.
This is a beautiful piece of machinery - both in looks as well as in function. When I was researching for an upgrade from my 10 year old 43 inch 3-D LED TV, I was initially inclined towards Sony. But Sony is overpriced - in India. Customers must understand that Sony does not get the same premium in North America as it does in India. Any technical edge of Sony has either been covered by the competition or is a hype created by advertising. The proof of the pudding lies in the eating and experiencing different brands in a showroom will bear this out. Also, in case of Sony, showrooms are ready to beat online prices. This is suspicious.Rest, electronics today is about luck also and you can see angry owners of all brands in the online reviews. This underlines the importance of a longer warranty period. This TV is a mini LED TV which is presently the best technology overall, considering that OLEDs have a shorter life. Also, it has a 4 year warranty. Toshiba is a trusted brand and this TV has a Regza heart by Toshiba in a HiSense body. Toshiba was created in 1875 and today it produces 12% of all TVs in Japan ( Refer : https://japantruly.com/japanese-tv-brands/ ).Some people want to go for an expensive TV only to show that they have money to spare - giving them the false impression of exclusivity. But my reasons for selection were purely technical and not for show-off.The 1.5 GB memory is either a typo or the memory has been technically enhanced because there is just no lag practically. The rear sound woofer is clever and I love the rich sound this TV produces. The viewing experience is stunning, especially with 4K content. Delivery and installation was quick and smooth. The VIDAA OS is light and serves its purpose well. I also use the firestick from my old TV. My only complaint is that I got too little in exchange for my old TV. But overall, you won't go wrong with this purchase.
