These little spice containers are handy for travel. Easy to pack in our camping gear - we're keeping salt and the all-necessary "Tony's Creole seasoning" so we'll never end up with bland food. They were easy to shake over our meat but also easy enough to pour out if you need something for a recipe. Each compartment contains about 3 Tablespoons of spice so you can plan accordingly.My biggest concern is over the lids. The whole lid comes off for easy filling and is pretty snug so I'm not worried about it coming off but the individual lids are also made of plastic and the spicy is accessed by bending the part of plastic that is attached to the top. I can't imagine this will last a long time bending them as you will have to to pour out. And plastic doesn't bend well when cold - I've already snapped one off by bending it when it was cold. the little lid fit back on but is way more likely now to pop off if bumped since it's not also attached to the top. So, it's ALMOST a great product. as it is, if you're careful with them and they don't get bumped around much, they'll probably be handy for quite awhile. Probably a good purchase for your RV travels but not as long-lasting for the more rugged camping trips that we typically take.

These are really helpful & efficient when you’re cooking a specific dish or you have your go-to spices you add to all your dishes, you can even group these by dish, like chili, Italian, anything. The only thing I don’t love are the individual lids. There’s 4 individual caps on each lid to each jar and when you lift it, it feels like it may break off, or it doesn’t want to extend up fully. It’s not a dealbreaker, I just don’t know what I’ll do if/when it does break. So it’s fine for now. The stickers they come with are cute, not terribly helpful and each spice jar comes with the same 6 labels: salt, Sichuan pepper, cumin, chicken essence, pepper & sugar. I might give one of the cumin labels a home but other than that, not much use for them. I definitely love the idea of this and have bought premade spice mixes in a little quad jar like these but I want to add my own and keep them grouped by ones i use together so I’m excited to pick who goes with who. These will help with organizing and space saving so for that they are great!

I purchased these specifically for camping. I put salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder in the four sections so I have the spices I use the most often with me wherever I go. Room is very limited in a motorhome but these eliminate having four different jars. I plan on using the others for more spices in the motorhome too. The price is also great! I recommend these salt and pepper shakers for anyone that camps.

I only wanted two of these, but the price was good enough that I don't mind having extras. We probably could have made do with one, but being able to bring eight different spices camping was a nice treat. We didn't end up using most of them, though. These lived in our open kitchen and kept the spices safe from rain and other contamination for eight days without issue. They are relatively easy to fill, although the cap is one piece, so you have to be careful not to spill into the other compartments when you are filling it. Our gear has to travel in a boat to get to our campsite and tends to get tossed around and pretty beat up, but these spice jars stayed closed and did not suffer any damage.

I was surprised that these came in a package of four! They are fairly large, but not too large. Perfect to have in your camper. I had an issue filling them. You should use a funnel so you do not get one spice mixed in with another spice. I tried it without a funnel and had pepper mixed in with my salt. Also, the openings on the lids are pretty large, so be careful when you shake spices out. The openings are large and will come out FAST! The lid fits, but I would prefer it to be just a tad bit tighter. I feel if you shake it too hard, the lid will come off, although it has not yet.Update**I found if you use a teaspoon to put your spices in the containers, it works better. One edge is curved and the spoon fits perfect in that area, so your spices do not get accidently mixed as easy.

I wanted a storage container/shaker for my favorite grilling and camping seasonings. This container is divided into 4 different compartments, each approximately 3 inches in depth with 1.25-inch sides, so each section holds a lot of seasoning. The longevity of the lids is an issue. After opening and closing one section of a lid 2-3 times, the plastic in the center is already showing signs of stress and will likely detach after a few uses. I'm assuming that once each quarter section lid breaks off, they will still stay on tightly. The containers also came with a preprinted labels, but the small print was English. Blank labels would have been a better idea so you can mark what you put in each section.

I ordered these because I camp and vacation in timeshares with kitchens so I can better control my food. When I fist opened the box, I was a little disappointed as I thought I’d have to hold up the lid while using these, which would fatigue the plastic at the bend point, eventually causing failure. I was wrong.I filled this and labeled it with my label maker. Then, I wanted to be sure I could get a light dusting of smoked paprika or Old Bay as that is how I use these spices. Although the lid looked like it wasn’t raised enough, and the holes looked big, the spice bounced off the lid to create the perfect dusting. The photo with the spread is on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper with just one hand shaking the container with the lid in its natural open position.I would like to give this 5 stars, but I’m still not fully sold in the long term functionality of the lid design. I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars.
