Magic Cube Build-on Brick Brain Teaser Puzzle and Bricks Toy in 1 for Adult Gift White

So I’ve been a puzzle enthusiast (cuber) for 7 years now. My most complicated puzzle is the Void Truncated Icosidodecahedron (VTI) from VeryPuzzle. That being said, I’m overqualified to write a review for this puzzle. This puzzle is no speed cube out of the box. However, I added a few drops of Maru lubricant to the core and to the edge pieces and this thing is so smooth. The colors are also vibrant and I haven’t had any pieces popping out. It has a good weight to it and it doesn’t feel like low quality plastic. The Lego pieces sit firmly in place and it comes with a little tool to remove them if necessary which is great. Not to mention it comes with an extra piece for each color. You cannot beat the price with this. It does lock up and catch here and there but that should be expected. We aren’t talking about a $100 speed 3x3 here. This is more of a novelty item and I’m blown away by the mechanism and quality of this puzzle. I recommend this to anyone who loves twisty puzzles.

My nine year old grandson loves LEGOs and I knew he’d like this Magic Cube 3x3 Puzzle Toy. I was right; he was excited to put it together. It’s a bit clunky, but it’s fun and colorful and it kept him entertained for a while.

This lego Rubik's Cube offers a unique twist on the classic puzzle, combining the off brand lego bricks with the challenge of solving the Rubik's Cube. One of the standout features is how smoothly it turns, turning easily during solving. The cube also impresses with its vibrant colors, as each side features six distinct hues, and an extra piece is included in case a piece is lost at any point. Another handy addition is the LEGO remover, which comes in handy when you accidentally misplace a piece. However, there are a few downsides to consider. Firstly, the cube lacks magnets to ensure smooth turns and alignment, which can affect stability and precision during rotations. Additionally, the pieces are quite square, leading to occasional sticking issues when turning. Overall, the LEGO Rubik's Cube may not be the pinnacle of quality, but it still manages to fulfill expectations and provide an enjoyable solving experience.

You do have to put it together yourself but it’s fun!

Legos meet the Rubik's cube with this toy. It's fairly self-explanatory, so there's not much to add in that regard. The cube seems to be built well enough to handle hours of spinning and tile swapping. When I was a kid, we'd just peel off the stickers and re-stick them when we couldn't solve the puzzle. Now, you can just move the pieces without twisting the cube.Maybe that's not much of mental challenge, but it sure makes the game far less frustrating.

The package includes the white 3x3 Rubik’s cube and the Lego pieces to put on the cube. There are 10 pieces of each color, so you have one backup for each color. The turning of this cube is smooth, and you can even do a little corner cutting. The cube is not magnetic. Without the Lego pieces, the cube is white. There are no white pieces to put on, you must use black on the opposite side of the yellow, or you can just not put any pieces on the opposite side of the yellow side. The put-on Lego pieces are compatible with Lego, but the whole cube is incompatible with Lego; you can’t put a Lego piece to connect, say, one side piece and one corner piece together. Obviously, it doesn’t feel like normal cubes, so you can’t use it to train speed cubing, but overall, it is a great Lego cube!

Good fun cube for the kids. They put the colors on just like legos.If they aren't good yet at solving the cube, there is always the easy option of swapping the lego pieces.This set includes extra pieces in case you lose 1.

This is such a wonderful building toy and cube puzzle combination! Our grands LOVE Lego building blocks, and this cube adds another educational element to the fun. Our older grands enjoy the puzzle aspect, the younger ones enjoy making different color combinations, and just turning the cube to change the look. Lego brand blocks do fit this cube, so there are lots of creative building options without using it as a speed cube puzzle. The included block remover tool works, too.
