Super heavy, but also heavy-duty!
For the price point, I expected this to be cheap, but I'm pleasantly surprised that it's actually really heavy duty and seems quite sturdy. I'm using it for 1mm steel rope, and it actually feels like overkill for such small wire. I find myself wishing they were smaller and lighter, like jewelry tools, because these things can't be used with any finesse. They are unwieldy in my small hands!I've used both the crimping and the cutting functions on this tool several times now, and both work quite well. The cutting tool is very directional, so keep that in mind while cutting lest you cut too long or too short and not precisely where you mean to. It probably isn't that important unless you're doing detailed work like I am, but I'm using the wire for jewelry and accessories, and precise measurements are important. This works perfectly as long as I'm aware of exactly where the cut will happen!

Reasonably priced and works well.
I've used this to create custom length hanging wires for LED light fixtures. It has worked well for its purpose. Crimps are secure and have not slipped. Handle length is a good compromise between bulk and grip strength required. It does require some hand strength, but it is generally easy to use. Reasonably priced and works well.

Sturdy good quality precise wire cutter
We used this to cut metal cables that were part of our grad party decor. Very sturdy and precise cut. Love the grip handle and metal quality. Highly recommend.

Description lies about 3/32". Too small
Wrong size.Claims it can handle ferrules for 3/32" wire rope. The Largest hole, despite being labeled for that, cannot handle the actual ferrule that large. A hole that is 3/32" is forgetting the size of the sleeve that fits over that size rope.Returning.
