You don't get the probe in the picture!
Don't buy this if you really any to measure high temps, it did not come with the pictured probe and when I put it in a 500 degree oven the included probe melted. I saw 4 stars and ordered it without reading the reviews. This is the classic bait and switch. Worthless!

Description & photo misleading
The instrument is fine but I can't use it for my purposes until I order the probe that was pictured with it. The description says it comes with a probe so I assumed it was with the probe that is in the photo. What I received was just a bare thermocouple.

Not shipped with the high temperature probe
I do not feel it is good to bait then switch. The instrument arrived with a low temp thermocouple rather then the high temp probe as described and pictured. Caused a delay in a project that cost me money. NEVER AGAIN.

Not As Advertised
This thermometer was pictured as it is here, with a long probe. When I received the product, I was very disappointed to see that the pictured probe was not included. I ordered it because I needed the long probe. Therefore, I returned it and purchased another thermometer from another company.

Product picture is not what was received.
This is a good thermocouple thermometer but it was shipped with a heat shrink covered thermocouple instead of the advertised steel sheathed probe. The heat shrink melted right away and exposed the thermocouple wires.
