I love this bed. It's in my guest room, and I got it when a friend was coming to stay with me. My cat loves this bed because she can go behind the bed to access the storage area as her private sanctuary (and that works for me because I lift up the bed, using the straps, to get access to her. My friend said she hasn't slept so soundly in the last 5 years. I hired a guy from Thumbtack to assemble it, and he was able to complete the task in two hours. I sent him a picture of the cat lying on the bed. (She gives five stars, too.) I want to replace another bed in my house with the same model. It's very good-looking, sturdy, and the mechanism for lifting the mattress is solid. I've left it in the up position for multiple days (there were reasons) and it didn't budge until I pulled it down. Definitely a great purchase!!

Guys. BEWARE. Do not underestimate the gas springs on this bed frame. I repeat: DO. NOT. UNDERESTIMATE. THEM.Like a fool, I ignored the instructions that clearly said, “Use help when installing gas pistons.” Pfft. Help? I’m a grown man. I’ve assembled IKEA wardrobes with nothing but stubbornness and an Allen key!Fast forward to me confidently attaching the gas springs solo… when suddenly — WHAM! Right in the family jewels. It was like the bed frame developed a personal vendetta and aimed for maximum damage. My dignity is still under the bed somewhere.Aside from that traumatic nut-knocking experience, everything else was great. All parts were included (I thought I was missing some, turns out I just can’t read). Assembly was smooth once I recovered, and best of all — the wife LOVES the bed.

I was skeptical but needed a new bed frame asap. This one offered so much with style and function. It is perfect! offers more support than my previous box springs (King size bed). I have a thick mattress as well as a 4" Lucid gel topper for added comfort. putting it all together has created the most comfortable cloud. The storage under the bed is both generous and genius. a King being so large is heavy to lift. The hydraulic lift does assist making it easier but still kind of heavy. I don't store everyday items under there. More like things being packed away for a bit or hidden. I purchased the beige after a difficult time deciding between that and grey. The Beige is a beige/grey. It blends quite nicely with all the light grey as well as the sand colored things in the room. I couldn't be happier.Assembly was quite difficult as its a king bed and I'm a short person. I did have my teenage son help me as I couldn't reach all the sides needed at once. We followed their instructions as best we could. at the end there seemed to be a gap in steps. we improvised and used common sense. Came out great and is very sturdy! Not a bulky frame either, like others that take up so much room. I am shocked at the quality at this price point. Excellent purchase!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Beautiful bed! Sturdy, not shaky doesn’t move easily. The storage under bed is perfect, exactly what we were looking for. Also, holds more than we expected. Delievered promptly next day, one box all together. Instructions were super clear and easy. Me and my 11 year old put it together in about 2.5 hours 😂 We couldn’t put our box spring on the bed as it wasn’t needed and would be too high with the bed lifting up, which we were concerned about it being too low. But honestly it’s perfect and hasn’t bothered us at all.

I would love to give it 5 stars, but the assembly is rough. I did this by myself in about 4 1/2 hours, and that was with making a few mistakes. What did help was to lay everything out where it was supposed to go. There are a TON of screws and I would suggest getting a better allen wrench than what is provided. The parts where the instructions say two people is accurate. I am just a single person so I didn't have help. but if you can get it, by all means.I saw the reviews about having the mattress on the bed makes it easier for the hydraulic feature and that is accurate. Not sure why, but it is..it is a quiet bed. It does not squeak and that's fabulous. The storage space is great but it is a bit less than sliding things under a regular bed.All in all I'm happy with the purchase, way better than my cheap metal frame I was using.

Bed frame is VERY well-made! The instructions are easy to follow – just take it one step at a time. I put it together in approximately two hours. All of the parts were present and labeled properly. All of the holes lined up like they were supposed to. I obviously have some PTSD from projects that I’ve done in the past because I was very doubtful. But, I had zero issues. Everything aligned like it was supposed to the material is gorgeous and it looks exactly like the photos. The lift for the storage underneath was, for me, the most difficult part of the process – because I made it difficult. I took a short break and when I came back, I followed the instructions and it was simple.

Only had the bed frame for a week, but so far it’s amazing. So much storage underneath! And despite the majority of the frame being metal, no squeaking. It feels very sturdy, the height is perfect to get in and out of without feeling like you are falling, or having to climb up and down. I will say, having your own tools does help speed up the building process. The tools that come with it work, but your wrist and fingers may be sore afterward.
