This colour black adheres to wood, brick & glass really well. Just ask the window fitters who replaced our hardwood kitchen window.I have used it outside when making garden planters out of treated pallet wood to seal the joints, it blends well with darker coloured timber. Its well worth paying the extra money for this superior quality of silicone which is used for marine items like glass fish tanks. K.

Hard-core stuff, this won't leak easily. We had an issue with the showerboard with normal silicone, but this does the job brilliantly. But it's a bit more difficult to apply.

Easy to use and works well in a vivarium background

Purchased this to repair a couple of old large glass aquariums I had sitting around. I first checked what was available at my local fish stores however I was disappointed by the selection; all they seemed to stock were small stingy tubes of silicone costing about twice the price of what both of these good sized tubes cost.Soon as the silicone arrived I got straight to work. One of the tanks has completely knackered seals, I used this to repair both the inner tank seal, and the seal between the panes of glass. After applying this and letting the silicone set for a few days I filled the tank up, and got my fish + shrimp in there! So far, no leaks whatsoever, the seals look perfect and no deaths from the fish or sensitive shrimp so I'm certain this silicone isn't leeching any nasties into the water.Overall, an excellent buy if you're looking to repair an old tank or if you're looking to build your own!

it is a very good item great for using indoor or out fish safe and great for extreme weather

An excellent product with good initial grip and very quick curing time. Used to secure stone covered flashing around my new fishpond.
