Exactly what I wanted, love the low profile and the fact that it has the controller

I gave this product a shot despite it having poor reviews. Bad move. The wave maker did not even last a week. The controller worked sporadically as did the wave maker.In addition, the controls themselves are very inconvenient. There are no up and down buttons. So, in order to go between 0 and 100 and vice versa, you have to go all the way to one end of the scale or the other. Again, not a good product.

I purchased 2 of these to take advantage of the sync functions and modes. One on either side of the tank… one comes on for 90 minutes while the other is off, then they switch. I like it, because it allows different flow patterns and fixes some dead spots from one direction flow. I only wish the frequency (timer) was higher. I would love if it allowed a 6-8 hour setting instead of a 99 minute max.They’re very quiet, fairly small and unnoticeable, and produce a decent amount of flow. In a 36 gal bow front, the flow is set to 5 of a max 20. I’m slowly cranking that up until something doesn’t like it.Overall, no real complaints yet. The directions could be a little better, with better explanation of what the functions are. I just threw min in a tub full of water and played with the settings to see if it was doing what I hoped it did.I haven’t had them for very long, so I can’t speak on longevity. Another reason I got 2… in case one fails.

Very well packaged. I dont have a long term review yet but 5 weeks in on a NUVO 40 gallon tank and it has been great so far. The drive motor does have a buzz to it but it is pretty similar in the noise category to other and much more expensive pumps.

I have a small 30 gal nano, the max I can set this thing to is the 1st level or it's too strong. That's good most of the time, but not in this size tank. I was thinking there would be a on off or intermittent setting. I can do the setting to go higher to lower, but as I said earlier higher just blows everything away. If only it could be set to 0 then 1 back to 0 and 1.

I love all the features especially the 10 minute feed timer and power adjustment it is also very quiet

This wave maker is more than adequate for by 30gal long. I have it situated mid water column and on level 5 out of 20 and I get plenty of flow across the tank. Any lower in tank or higher speed and it blows sand around pretty good. I do have a few dead spots in tank with only one but I don’t see the need with a 30 and have other flow from filter and skimmer.
