My plants are happy and so am I
After careful research I decided on this brand which I had not heard of. I have to say that I really like it. It brought my plants back to life and they are thriving. Personally I think the two bags were a good value for the money especially over MiracleGro which has gotten incredibly expensive. I liked it so much that I purchased the bag for Succulents as well. I would definitely purchase this brand again.

Very Nice Potting Soil
I really like this succulent mix. It drains well, which is a must. I keep many cactus and succulents and I'm always looking for good soil. This nutrient rich formula is working really well so far.I'm not used to paying this price for a small bag, but for the sake of convenience I would do it again. I normally buy large bags from the big garden centers in town, but was unable to find it when I needed it. I took a chance on this and I'm glad I did. I had a lot of small transplanting projects to do, so the small bag was just perfect. There were a lot of complaints in the reviews about gnats and fungus being in the soil. I can tell you from experience that that can happen with any soil from anywhere. It's always a crap shoot when you buy a bag of soil and open it up. Gnats and fungus spores can get in the soil at the manufacturing facility, in the warehouse where they're stored, or even while they're in a truck being delivered somewhere. I wouldn't fault the company for having these problems. Sometimes you could open a bag of soil and put it in your garage or shed and all it takes is one gnat to come lay an egg or one fungus spore and you're whole bag can be spoiled. I got lucky with this particular bag. No complaints here!Another issue I saw in the reviews was that people were unhappy with the little bits of wood found in the soil. This soil actually comes with aged bark (it says it on the bag), so little bits of wood is to be expected. A lot of cactus mix comes with bits of wood, so I'm used to it. If someone didn't like it, they could easily pick the pieces out and throw them away. Again, no complaints here! In the future, if I need a small bag of soil I would absolutely purchase this again. I'm quite happy with it! :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Organic Potting Mix I’ve Ever Used!
Back to the Roots 100% Organic Potting Mix is hands-down one of the best soil mixes I’ve used for my indoor and outdoor plants. From the moment I opened the bag, I could tell it was high quality—rich, dark, and full of life. You can actually smell the freshness, and there’s zero trace of that synthetic or chemical odor you find in some other brands.I love that it’s completely organic and peat-free, which makes it a more sustainable choice for the environment. The mix is fluffy yet dense enough to hold moisture, and my plants have absolutely thrived in it. Whether I’m repotting houseplants, starting herbs, or adding soil to my garden containers, this mix consistently delivers great results.Another huge plus? No weird fillers or mystery ingredients. It’s packed with natural nutrients like root-boosting mycorrhizae and biochar, so my plants have strong roots and grow faster and healthier. And since it’s ready to use right out of the bag, it makes gardening super convenient. If you care about your plants and the planet, you won’t regret switching to Back to the Roots Organic Potting Mix. It’s truly a game changer for any level of gardener—from beginners to green-thumb pros!

Great Quality, Fluffy & Well-Draining Soil
The media could not be loaded. Good quality soil — dark, moist, and well-balanced right out of the bag. It has nice chunks of bark to keep it fluffy and aerated, along with a decent amount of fine sand for drainage. My succulents and cacti seem happy in it so far. Overall, I’d recommend it.

Fantastic Potting Soil
I have used these products for years, both as the little starter plants for teaching children and their dirt (buying it from their website). I am so excited they are selling their dirt now in larger bags since it is fantastic for plants and at a price that is more affordable for many home growers. I wish they sold it in larger bags. The bags though are the perfect weights for doing indoor planting without much fuss and I typically do not need my husband's help lugging plants around.I have purchased both the succulent soil and potting soil, even though my last purchase was the potting soil for taking care of some of my other indoor plants. The plant nutrient mix is great for keeping plants healthy and rejuvenating sicker plants to a healthier state (I have a bad habit of buying hurt plants at big box stores and getting them healthy before re-homing them). This has started being one of my go-to soil companies.

Succulents Love this Soil
My succulents love this soil. It is lightweight and has good drainage. It has some wood pieces in it that are larger than I would like for smaller pots, but they are easily removed. Pleased with the size of the bag for the price paid. It lasts a long time. Highly recommend.

Great for balcony gardens
I love this stuff. Works well on my 7th floor balcony garden mixed with worm castings. Great tomatoes, spinach, lettuce, herbs, peppers, flowers & for the first time, cucumbers on the vine.

Woody and grows white mold and mushrooms.
I have ordered this product twice. The first bag I received was excellent. It drained well and my plants seemed happy. My son started his own little fairy garden with succulents so I decided to order another bag for his flower pot. When I got this bag, I noticed it seemed a little more "woody" than the other but decided to try it out anyhow. After transplanting his watch chain, strings of pearls, and jade plant, a few days later I noticed the top layer of soil was starting to show a film of white mold over it and his watch chain began to break off at soil level. I am assuming due to root rot as the soil was still as wet as it was when we transplanted to plants a few days prior. I had also started to germinate seeds in another container and that too has splotched of white mold and is growing little mushrooms. I guess with this brand, its touch and go on if you get a good bag or not. I'm dumping out the soil tomorrow and replanting his plants with miracle grow succulent soil.... Would not recommend.
