US Energy Products -3MM- Reflective Foam Core Insulation Roll Radiant Barrier White/Foil Faced Reflective Foam Insulation Solid Vapor Barrier Warehouse Building Commercial Residential (2ft x 10ft)

I used this as a backing (facing) for some insulation that got torn doing some ceiling work. Besides adding some R value to the existing insulation, it is strong and worked perfectly in the application that it was used for.

Trade Winds radiant heat barrier is a 10/10.* Light weight - material to cover a 3' x 3' window weighs less than 2 ounces (~50 gm).* Very easy to work with - easily cut with regular scissors.* Perfectly bonded layers - no separation or fraying at the cut edges.* Dramatically reduces radiant heat transfer. I live in Southern California and as I'm typing this review, it's currently 109.8oF outside (hottest day of the year). I have the barrier installed in the windows in the two hottest rooms in my house (ESE facing wall in one room; ESE and SSE facing walls in the other room. Large windows in both rooms). Those rooms have been baking in direct sunlight since shortly after sunrise, so for about 7 hours. Without using any AC, the coolest room in my house (W and N facing walls) is currently 86oF. The rooms with the radiant heat barrier insulation installed are only 0.6oF warmer than the coolest room! The walls in the 'hot' rooms are very warm to the touch, but the insulation covering the windows is about at ambient temperature (barely warm to the touch).This insulation is the 'real deal'. It would be a bargain at twice the price. I'd like to cover my exterior walls and roof with the stuff, but I don't think my neighbors would appreciate the glare (that's a joke, folks).

This barrier is pretty fantastic at reflecting heat. It also makes a very nice sound buffer. Fantastic service. Quick enough shipping. Well worth it!

Product is very thin, much thinner than it appears in their ad. I guess the foil side will reflect heat, but I do notice they're not claiming any r-value. It's ok, I guess, but I'm not optimistic about how well it actually insulates, especially in the winter.

Cut to fit my rv windows, worked perfectly

I have 3 acrylic arch-top block windows in my bathroom. For 10 years we've put up with the summer heat making the master bath miserable to use. I cut an insert with this insulation for each window and used velcro to hold them in place. For the 1st time it's the same temperature in there as the rest of the house!

I’m using it as a radiant barrier for my new shop. Still finishing the inside so won’t know how well it helps keep the heat out. Product is very easy to work with.
