I love a good chipotle dish, and this is some good chipotle! I like the smoky heat - it's hot, but not overwhelming, and has a deep flavor that many other types of pepper don't. I use this to dress up my dishes that call for pepper. I put some in my eggs or when frying seafood. This is my go-to substitution to improve the flavors of my dishes. Use a little to give a hint of heat to a pot of beans, or load it up on your favorite mouth-watering meats. Mine was very fresh when I opened it, and I've been enjoying it here and there.

This is flavorful but it is quite hot like cayenne pepper. I'll find it really needs to be used in moderation. It's got a perfect smokiness. It's extremely well ground and I use it carefully and sparingly. The container is easy to dispense from. It's good mixed with sour cream. This product comes in a plastic jar with an outer plastic seal and an inner plastic seal. I think it's a good value because a little goes a long way.
