ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX™ 4060 OC Edition Gaming Graphics Card (PCIe 4.0, 8GB GDDR6, DLSS 3, HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 1.4a, Axial-tech Fan Design, Aura Sync, 0dB Technology)

I bought this GPU in November 2024, I was waiting enough time to give an honest review. I never had anything ASUS before so I thought it would be cool to upgrade my setup and start off with an ASUS GPU and an ASUS motherboard. I am impressed. I came from an AMD GPU that I hated because games would run low quality even with all specs high. I love this GPU, it looks amazing, Aura sync is AMAZING (it lets me sync my G.Skill Trident RAM), and temperature never goes above 52 Celsius even if I play for more than 4hrs. I am currently using a Ryzen 3 3300X (yeah I know is trash) until I save up enough money, but it works GREAAAAT with this GPU, I honestly don’t have any complaints. In a few years when I update my GPU I’ll go with ASUS x NVIDIA next time. I’ll update if I notice something.

It's the average size of most higher end graphics cards for Gaming. Luckily when I started doing my build I'd purchased the ROG Strix Helios Tower, so I had plenty of room. I do like the card and its design is great. Only thing I wish is that they'd have the power supply plug in a different location, especially when you're trying to hide most of the wiring. I had to run it up over the top of the cardto avoid blocking the logo for Republic of Gamers. Maybe if uit would have been placed on the backside where they have plugins for two ARGB'S. The performance I get while gaming is good and it handles the games I play like the new DELTA FORCE Game with ease. The memory of the card is 8GB of GDDR6, I could have spent more money on a different card, but I chose what was in my budget at the time. I do wish the memory on it was more than 8 gb and was GDDR6X, but it runs great all the same. It's a fast card and you can overclock it to get more out of it. It didn't really take anytime for it to be installed at all. Probably took me like 15 minutes total.

Not noisy at all, speed seems to be good, card quality seems to be good. Power consumption no idea my pc has a 1050w power supply. Cod black ops 2 near 400 fps on max, war thunder play comfortabley on movie graphics, play skyrim with anywhere from 2k to 8k graphic mods and this thing has no issue doing that at all. Cod world War 2 was getting 120 fps on max settings. Played forza horizon 5 at max setting no issues. All and all great cars for the price very happy with it

Huge step up from a 4070 Ti. Not really speed as much as smoothing things out. Movement in Halo and Cyperbunk smoothed out noticeably. Both are pretty hard on a GPU. What made more difference though was upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700x3d with the new card. Together they are a new computer. It screams now.

This graphics card is excellent in terms of performance and price, one of the best on the market.

I built a new system and had some "scope growth" like many of my projects....anyway bought this graphics card. So far it works well. I'm aware that there are many choices and this version is not on top of the pile as to features etc, but its also not on the top of the $$ pile in regard to price. So far a good trade off on a effective video card that works well without being crazy expensive. I'm running this on a Windows 11 system with a asus motherboard. No known conflicts or issues at present.

Amazed with this ASUS Rog Strix RTX 4060 the price to performance is amazing. For being an entry level graphics card it handles all games great at high or medium settings if you want more fps. The rgb looks great especially if you’re looking for that extra color to pull you build together. All around great card for being entry level.
