The knife comes in a clear sealed wrapper and coated in gun oil or 3&1 oil I'd assume which is great for keeping rust away n joints lubricated. If you want a gorgeous well made blade of quality to be proud of n will capture everyone's eye and for a such an awesome price look no further. I'm Still in awe of it honestly so much that I'm fixing to order me and my son one as well. Love it. To the makers you did an amazing job with this knife truly talented.
