A biometric lock that actually has a good fingerprint sensor
If you've set up finger unlock on mobile devices over last few years, its a similar experience. The app was a quick install and is clean and functional. Pairing the device and adding my first fingerprint took a few minutes. I can't help but wonder if any reviews that mention setting it up, bluetooth etc are also from folks that would have issue with pairing any bluetooth device like my dad. All in all, easy to setup, charges quick, and unlocks super fast and is very accurate. Have not had an issue recognizing my fingerprint and unlocks almost instantaneously as you touch it.

Stopped working
Lock stopped working. Error when sending Bluetooth unlock signal from app. Cannot delete lock from app. Customer service seems nonexistent. Basically 6 months after purchase.

This has changed my definition of a lock!
I wanted to get a smart padlock for the gym but didn’t want to compromise on security and was hesitant initially. I saw a someone using this lock at the gym and decided to buy it. Oh boy was I surprised. 1. Looks and feels solid and premium: The body is made of aluminium as advertised, not cheap plastic or pot metal like some digital locks. It feels sturdy. The shackle is made of hardened steel. Of course this isn’t locking up a vault but the specs say that the cut force is 1300 lbf. I think it’ll work fine for locking up my stuff at the gym. The shackle is thicker than many of the other locks I see at the gym. 2. App is very convenient! They don’t ask for much information and you can add a shortcut to Siri to use with your Apple Watch! Good to have if your fingers are wet at the gym. I love that I can manage 10 fingerprints and also create virtual app keys if needed. Cheaper locks don’t have an app support, so this is definitely a premium feature. 3. Fingerprint sensor is large and works 360 degrees as advertised. Doesn’t work if your fingers are super wet though. I use my apple watch shortcuts for that in case I’m at the gym. Overall no issues with it, always works in a single scan. 4. USB-C! OMG it’s super easy to charge, only takes 1 hour I’ve used it for a week and battery has dipped by 3%, so it should last the 6 months hopefully! If the battery dies, I can just jumpstart it! 5. I love that the logo lights up, not a tiny LED light. It really stands out in the gym and a few people have asked me what brand the lock is! 10/10 recommend! Investing in a security device, you don’t want to skimp out and this is definitely a quality product compared to the cheap products available on Amazon. Pros: Exceptional build quality Intuitive app with Siri and Apple Watch shortcuts Very accurate fingerprint sensor Efficient USB-C charging Premium security without compromise Cons: Slight inconvenience with extremely wet fingers Battery life could be longer than 6 months

Love it!
I think it works great. I just received it today and tested it like 50 times with my finger and it didn't fail once. It is also the perfect size for my tool bag. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. People are saying that it is glitchy but it worked perfectly with my Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Great lock!
Easy to use. Unfortunately it’s only for indoor use.

Battery doesn’t last.
Bought in March, 2025 Now 7 month later the battery already died completely. Dead as in after connected to a charger for a day brought it up to 4% charge, that’s it.

Expected longer life from battery. Sensor is finicky

Perfect
Easy to open with app and small to carry around

Doesn't work well with wet hands after you've been to the gym shower... A pain to use, go with a combo lock instead would be my advice.

Best lock I've owned so far. Great app. Needs firmware update for battery optimization.

I am extremely impressed with this smart padlock! It looks really, really good in my opinion, and the fingerprint sensor is one of the best I've used outside of a modern smartphone. It is surprisingly reliable and seems to work first time in most cases. It is made of metal (one review claimed it was plastic) and despite the pictures, the logo does not glow except for when you perform an action (eg. scanning fingerprint or remote unlock) which is a good thing and a relief actually, as it doesn't draw any unnecessary attention. In normal usage, the padlock automatically locks when you close it and can be unlocked by pressing your finger on the fingerprint scanner. It can also be unlocked via the app if you have any issues with the fingerprint detection. The app is well designed and nice to use. It allows remote unlock/lock, registering of fingerprints, tweaking the settings, the battery level as well as downloading logs, which shows a list of times and events such as when it was locked and unlocked and even failed attempts, so you can see if someone has tried to use it while you were away. One review said it doesn't show anything in the logs - it does. The trick is you have to click the sync button and it downloads the latest logs. It takes a few seconds to sync. There are apps for Android, iOS and the Apple watch, but no watch app for Android Wear which would have been neat, but not essential. I did have a weird issue with the Android app while setting up the first fingerprint (it claimed the device immediately timed out and then wouldn't register any fingerprints). I was getting worried for a bit but then it eventually started working normally and I've had no further problems since. It is rechargeable and charges via USB C which is just brilliant and how all smart devices should be. I'm a little skeptical of the security it provides. Is it as strong as a good metal padlock? I'm not sure. Maybe? I have a feeling it might not stand up to a lot of abuse, happy to be proven wrong here, but it seems to be at least good enough to use for most purposes such as a gym locker. The best part is the convenience. Since it's fingerprint based, you don't need to carry a key to open it (which at a gym is definitely a convenience) and you don't need to remember a pin as you would with a combination padlock. I'd say it's actually slightly faster to open than a key based padlock and significantly faster to open than a combination padlock, which means it's quick and easy and not a hassle every time you want to open the padlock. It is an expensive lock, the most expensive I've seen, but it's most likely the best smart padlock around and I am glad I got it.

Having to re order and ask for a refund on the first one as it’s come faulty. Managed to get it to sync to the app and then couldn’t update the firmware. Now the padlock has locked and I can’t get it open again. Raised a ticket with support and they have said have it replaced by Amazon. On the upside. The lock feels very good quality and perfect size for a gym locker which is what I intended it for. Shame it’s not working at the moment. I will update my review when the 2nd one arrives
