Very "life-like" when hung by its feet in an area where buzzards are a problem. Once they discovered it, all the black vultures in the barn area vacated and haven't returned. I didn't deploy the second bird, and since they will stand on their feet, we'll use it as a halloween decoration.

While others claim that this "dead" vulture doesn't work for their yards, I have found it to be perfect in discouraging the dreaded black vultures from visiting my backyard where I do have pole feeders for my song birds. Some vultures may land on tall tree branches, they don't venture into my yard as before. Hope that helps those with vulture problems.

This handsome fellow is perched on top of my kitchen cabinets as my Guard Vulture. Like that the wings can be adjusted a bit, the feathers look nice, and good size. Don’t think it would be good outdoor decor, but that is just my thought. Great purchase if you appreciate vultures, quirky decor or are just slightly macabre!

I was trying to get rid of the black vultures that are on my roof all the time. These products did not work as the vultures tore them apart. We even tried putting a real dead vulture up there and it was also torn apart. I guess they do some good in eating road kill but I wish they were not a protected bird when they are damaging my roof!

We hung this up on one of the poles in our pasture. Prior to doing this we had multiple black headed vultures circling our pasture. After hanging it up, we saw vultures over our neighbors pastures but they steered clear of ours. Put my mind at ease. Very life like and holds up in weather. Would recommend.

Soft feathers and feel decently high quality, but they didn't work to scare off my vultures. Also does not feel like it would be very durable, but haven't tested.
