Used this to repair my Hunter rain boots and let me tell you IT DID THE TRICK! It was easy to use and cures in 24 hours. Great way to prolong the life of your shoes!

I used the Revivex boot and shoe cleaner on a pair of leather shoes. The directions were easy to follow; rinse, apply cleaner, and use a sponge to scrub, and rinse until clear. The shoe on the left with the product was cleaned up nicely compared to the still to be cleaned shoe.Getting ready to use my rain boots and decided to use the rubber boot treatment. I wasn't a huge fan of the applicator. It seemed to work really well on the first boot, but then I was having issues. I had some issues of no liquid coming out, then to much, possibly from me pushing on the foam to many times, not sure. Anyways I tried to spread it out evenly with the applicator but I had to much in certain spots. The boots had a shine to them and they are ready for the seasonI used the aquaseal on a pair of hiking boots, and the first thing I noticed was the cap didn't have the capability to puncture the tube. I grabbed a pin and put a hole in it, but the size wasn't that great and I tried to expand it more. I got it to where I could squeeze it out decently. Applied it to one pair of hiking boots and realized the second pair needed a complete redo of the sole. I'll get both soles redone on the boots and thus won't be able to review the quality of the product until I need to repair another pair of boots.

Full disclosure, I have duck boots that haven’t been treated with anything for 5 years where the rubber on one boot has severely cracked. I thought this product would help with that. It kind of does but not entirely. The rubber boot treatment aids to put a gloss shine on the rubber which gives the appearance that the cracks have disappeared but in fact the cracks are still there but not as nearly noticeable before the treatment. So does it completely eliminate cracks, no. But if you have rubber boots that are starting to show cracks, this will make them look better. For boots like mine that have been neglected, not so much. Advice, use this product to prevent cracking to begin with, not as a solution after the fact. The product was easy to use and I liked that only the amount needed came out with a push instead of a flood of the product. It dried easy and quickly when you follow the directions and put a thin coat on. Time will tell if the product holds up over time. I’ve attached “before” and “after” pics. (The ”after” pics has 3 coats of the boot restorer on it with drying between coats)

My Xtratuf boots that I wear daily out in the yard were starting to get damaged from use. They had lost the oil that came on them long ago and became dull and scratched up. I used this cleaner on them and now they look almost brand new. I don’t have any rips or cracks yet so I can’t comment on how well that product works, but I am a fan of the cleaner.

I have a pair of rubber boots that have recently gotten a hole in the sole. When walking on the beach my sock was getting wet. Since they are my favorite boot I decided to try and patch them. This repair kit worked great. It was easy to apply and so far has held up well! Nice product!

I have a very expensive pair of zip up hiking boots that have a suede upper and a rubber sole. The rubber is just starting to show signs of separating. This three piece set is great to fix cracks / holes and rebuild any issues with the rubber and then clean up the uppers.The rubber sealer is a small squeeze tube. It is really easy to use. You just need to clean and dry where you want to apply it to. If the surface is completely smooth, the directions say to rough it up a little bit so it has something to bond to. Then you just apply evenly, use a weight to hold into place. This is a permanent fix - not something that will peel off or re-crack quickly. I love that it is flexible and is waterproof.The rubber boot treatment has a foam applicator - you shake the bottle, squeeze contents out into the foam applicator and then rub it on to condition and protect rubber, using a thin layer (don’t need to put it on in a thick coat).The boot and shoe cleaner can be used to clean up leather, suede, and other waterproof fabrics. After you rinse off your shoes/boots, you can put a small amount of this product onto a sponge and scrub., then just rinse off your shoes/boots and dry. After using this product you’ll need to re-apply waterproofing protectant.Overall, I am really happy with the clean and repair job this set has done on my boots. This will keep my favorite pair in business for a long time to come (and we’ll probably use the cleaner for other shoes / boots so I’ll have to order more of that separately.This is a good value and I would order the set again.

Bye bye Shoegoo…I’ve had really mixed results with that over the years. But this Aquaseal is stellar stuff. It really does adhere and remain flexible. I can’t imagine using anything else now.The cleaner seems to work nicely. I guess we’ll have to wait a few years to see how well the treatment works. I’ve had a lot of boots last a long time and then suddenly start cracking. And some that only last a year before falling apart. I hope this stuff keeps that from happening or really extends the time.
