I can’t recommend this down wash enough. In my view it’s the best. I’ve got a few down coats (some are synthetic down) including an expensive Jack Wolfskin winter-weight waterproof, windproof heavy duty jacket. I’ve just washed that and followed up with the wash-in waterproofer from Nikwax and the coat came up like brand new. I’m really impressed with how easy it is to use in the washing machine and it gives excellent results every time. There’s no odour and it removes all stains. Highly recommended and personally I wouldn’t use anything else. The one litre bottle is great value for money too. Thank you.

Worked well on my long raincoat from Mountain Warehouse which stipulated to use a product for down stuff. I didnt notice any problems with the smell. Very easy to use. Cleaned well.

I used it on a well-worn down jacket that had started to feel flat and slightly damp in light rain. After one wash and proper tumble drying, the difference was immediate. The jacket felt lighter, much puffier, and noticeably warmer. It genuinely restored the loft and performance. What stood out most is how well it cleans without damaging the down. Regular detergents can leave residues that attract moisture and reduce insulation, but this product avoids that and helps maintain water resistance. It’s also very straightforward to use. Just add it to the washing machine like normal detergent. There’s no strong chemical smell either, which I appreciated. I can't say that I've specifically noticed any actual benefit of using this, but I do kind of sense that it cleans more deeply. I'm looking out for improved waterproofing, but haven't been caught in any downpour as yet

Employé pour nettoyer des sacs de couchage en duvet d'oie (ou de canard) dans une machine à chargement frontale. En cycle "laine / lavage à la main" à 30 C et essorage à 400 tours par minute, les sacs sont ressortis plus propre, et sans grosses boules de duvet. (Après un lavage dans une machine à chargement par le dessus à l'américaine (grosse cuve), j'avais obtenu des boules de duvet que j'ai dû défaire une à une). Aucun soucis avec ce produit Nikwax, mais il faut bien faire attention à la machine employée lors du lavage. D'ailleurs Nikwax recommande de laver les sacs de couchage à la main plutôt qu'en machine...
