Still tiptoes around the issues of feminism and masculinity but not as poorly this time. And this time manages to tell its own stories rather than rely too heavily on the books. Seeing Dandelion was a sweet surprise tho. Some illustrations, especially in the Witches story, are mind-blowing. Overall would recommend and would buy the 3rd volume too.

Better than Vol 1, more assured of itself
Much better and more confident than the first entry. Still tiptoes around the issues of feminism and masculinity but not as poorly this time. And this time manages to tell its own stories rather than rely too heavily on the books. Seeing Dandelion was a sweet surprise tho. Some illustrations, especially in the Witches story, are mind-blowing. Overall would recommend and would buy the 3rd volume too.
