Good quality, attractive appearance.
Installed inside with the IMB brackets on a fixed window behind the primary bath garden tub. Looks like it should have been there when the house was built. Great quality and easy installation.

Grisham Window Bars to secure property
The Grisham Spear Point Heavy-Duty Window Bars are just what I needed to secure a property. They are somewhat basic built quility but it is an extra layer of defence. The are pricy but they are a good choice for the money. They come in different sizes to fit most windows. They attach with screws and wall brackets that are sold separately (not like some cheap ones that need strong adhesive to attach). These are overall very functional.

Warden Norton ordered these for Shawshank I heard.
The bars are easy to install, of good quality, and come in a variety of sizes that should suit most needs. They should work well to secure windows from outside entry, and for the price and ease of DIY installation (you'll need a 2nd set of hands, a drill, and an impact wrench), are good value. They get 4/5 stars because you have to buy the hardware separately, and it is (of course) ridiculously expensive. Also, after you drill the pilot holes for the massive one-way screws, you have to have a flathead bit wide enough to run those one-way screws in. You need an 8mm at the least, and 99% of the bit kits on the market don't include one near that size. I only found one that large in a special 'security' bit kit at Harbor Freight that had 100 bits I didn't need, and only 1 that I did. So that one bit cost me about $12. But if you have windows, and you want them secured, it's well worth the cost. Nobody is getting into my cabin through a window--that's for sure. Just enough with the gouging for separate hardware already.

Great idea!
These are great for peace of mind. I installed them on the inside of my barn windows (not on the outside like they are shown.) I can still open my windows and get air and I can remove them as I bought different screws to attach them so I can take them off if I need to. Easy to install and sturdy enough that someone would really want to take the time and effort to get inside. Highly recommend.

Hardware not included
It would be nice to know that you have to buy the hardware separately. And nice to know what to buy. They look nice but now no way to put them on.

Good Product
I installed the window bar to secure my 33-inch wide basement window by cutting off horizontal bars on both sides. I also purchased optional hardware package. The result of the project is perfect.
