Packable warmth, ideal for backcountry travel and climbing. ARCTERYX's Cerium LT Jacket uses a mixture of 850 fill European goose down with Coreloft synthetic insulation to efficiently trap heat while maximizing compression and minimizing weight. A DWR finish helps protect the down from moisture and adds some versatility when being used as a stand-alone jacket.

Great coat, few small problems.
So far (few weeks of use) I love this coat. It's perfect in rain and snow and keeps me warm and dry. Didn't test it yet in extreme temperatures.Cons:- VERY expensive (compared to the quality you expect for this price)- Gortex layer is very rough and "noisy" (I expected the better version I had in the past)- The neck area is too high, and when you use the coat partially open (most of the time) it pinches your mouth and skin.- No soft layer inside or in the pockets (plastic feeling).- The hat is a little to big and uncomfortable (look like you must use a helmet)BTW, I don't see any problem with the small zipper issue that was mentioned in other reviews...

Beautiful, warm, and fits great.
Only the black color was on sale, for $485, so I bought it even though I preferred the blue. After getting it I now actually like the black better as it looks a lot nicer than the photo of it. I'm 5' 10'' 165 lbs and the medium fits me perfect in the chest, shoulders, and waist. The sleeve length is a tad bit too long as it covers my knuckles but this isn't a big deal. At least my fingers stick out. The jacket has the look of high quality with the seams and zippers perfectly done. It's a beautiful jacket and very stylish. I wore it for the first time today walking to work in 3F weather. I had no layers on underneath and it kept me from getting cold. It wasn't toasty like a mammoth Canada Goose Parka would have been. But for a light, slender ski jacket it's quite warm. Not to mention it also blocks the wind and is waterproof. I'm quite happy with this purchase.Update: Boise has been down to -5F lately and this jacket, combined with a North Face Gordon Lyons Fleece sweater, has kept me from getting the least bit cold. Also, the pockets are wonderful in keeping my hands warm when my gloves are elsewhere.

Worth the money for unbelievable warmth!!!
If you are looking for a warm coat - this is it! I am 5'10", 170 lbs, 40 inch chest and 31 inch waist and I went with the Large. The Medium was a bit too snug - just a bit - for my liking. Plus if I ever wanted to layer, the M would have been too small for me given the taper on this coat. That said, I have yet to layer this coat in the winter. I live in Chicago and love wearing this coat - in the coldest of temperatures - with only a short sleeve shirt underneath. The coat is wind resistant and unbelievably warm. This high-tech comfort and warmth comes at a price but being someone that hates being cold - and actually gets cold quite easily (I wear lightweight long underwear to the office when the temperature hits 45 degrees) this coat was worth every cent. Plus I got a great price, relatively speaking, off of Amazon.

Loved it buuuut
jacket is well made. No doubt, but it's a slim cut and normally I wear XL jackets.. Refused to buy an XXL. So I had to return it. I also wished that the jacket would fold itself into it's own pocket as some do.

Best. Jacket. Ever.
It's a little hard to believe that this jacket can be worth the asking price, but it really is. My parents bought me one when I moved from the southern to northern united states and it helped me cope with the harsher winters wonderfully. I bought this one for my husband just in time for the harsher-than-normal winter of 2013-2014 and I don't think he'll ever look back. I'm saving up now to replace our rain jackets with Arc'teryx.

Loving this jacket.
Arrived quickly. I love the jacket it's very soft and very light shockingly light. Make and feel is very high quality and craftsmanship. Love going to wear it for many years. Got this jacket after wearing a northface Hyvent parka so I'm loving the lack of bulk just as warm. If you could buy it do it it's definitely worth it..
