Yacht Club Swing, Classic White

Swing arrived, I grabbed the box to move it to the porch and ... WHOA .. this baby is heavy. I knew then that it was going to live up to its name ... TREX. I unboxed it and began to assemble. Smooth sailing with the assembling and with hanging it on the front porch. Everything was in the box that I needed except for hardware to suspend the swing. I used a large heavy duty threaded eye-bolt, then clipped in the chains and leveled the swing. Very nice and great quality. I highly recommend !!

This swing is really nice,built very high quality and easy to clean.I have purchased a 2nd for the lake house.By the way it fits inside the frame of the cheap home center swing and frame combo.I painted my frame and hung the new swing.Tim

This swing was very difficult to assemble. The directions reflected predrilled holes in which to place provided bolts to attach the side rails. Without the predrilled holes, we had to develop a template in order to drill holes in the side slats (after disassembling those slats) so we could place the bolts in the correct position to assemble the side rails.

It is such a pleasure to get something that is so much better than envisioned. The quality of the details in this chair are better than anything I have ever seen. The hardware being stainless steel and precision milled, the detailed design of the chair pieces, the quality chain, and the ease of assembly were all better than anticipated. Highly recommend this product. The light gray color is especially nice too.

Just arrived today, very sturdy and quality piece of furniture. Can't wait to enjoy the fall on my new porch and new porch swing. Time will tell if it lives up to the hype on maintenance and performance. We had to buy brackets to screw into the ceiling of the porch for this item, otherwise all the hardware comes with it.If you are interested in buying a cushion for this bench, you can stick with the Trex brand which has the right size. I really liked one of the Pillow Perfect bench cushions and in reading the product details listed for this item, it stated the seat was 45" long, however, please note in the photographs that the seating is actually 55" long. We will have to return the cushion we bought.

I'd give it five stars because the swing is all I expected, but I am disappointed that it's so uncomfortable to sit in. That just doesn't make sense to me. Why make a swing this expensive and then have some sort of ledge sticking out that hits people right at their shoulder blades? It starts to hurt after about five minutes. I guess now I have to invest in some sort of cushion. If I'd sat in this swing for any length of time before purchasing it, I'm fairly sure I would have chosen another, more comfortable, style.

We like the way it looks. Most of the assembly went well. The instructions could have been better. The last two screws were difficult: At least four hands were necessary to push and hold parts close together while the screws were tightened. I think it is quite sturdy, but time will tell.
