Purchased this to use with my video camera to provide better audio. The mics sound good. You need the rat head for best noise reduction. The only issues I had was the mic clip is not rotatable. THe clip is fixed in one directions. Would prefer to have had a rotating clip for best connection to a short. Not the best mic but a nice starter remote mic.
