I've had this for a few months now and have not noticed ANY mosquitos and my dogs do not mind it, nor does it emit an odd odor. We still are on our first refill and will continue to use this so we can still bite free during rainy season here.Side note: this does not work for bees..

I keep my storm door opened a few inches to allow my cat to go in and out. Of course, that goes for mosquitoes as well. I have to say that this product banishes the mosquitoes. I haven't had a single bite since plugging it in. After I close the door for the night, I unplug the apparatus, and plug it back in the next day. That makes it last a little longer. The chemical that is used is from the "effective ingredient" in pyrethroid insecticides. In household concentrations, it's supposed to be harmless to humans. I hope that's true. It is certainly effective.

I am not sure why those positive feedbacks can be so wrong. This product was a waste of money. Although this product was plugged in , it didn’t stop the mosquitoes.DO NOT BUY

I cant give it a good test as there is only one mosquito in my house. When I turn it on I don't know if ti is in the room or not.

I was being eaten alive in my Studio. Around 10 bites every day. Since plugging in the device, I've had no bites in this room. (I get 1 or 2 in other parts of the house.) I also used to use these in a large bedroom and it worked great. Even when I had my windows open. Can't live without this in Summer months.

It worked for two weeks, and then mosquitoes started to come back! Was really pleased at first and then it stopped working. Wasted my money on it.

It does not work. it has a very faint scent, with this quality I’m scared it would catch on fire

This works!!! Every bug always wants to bite me. Under my computer desk they were killing me. Used this, killing stopped. Just ran out of the liquid for the first month and bitten in minutes, and they swell up crazy big. Put in the second cartridge. Hope to be bite free for another month. Order for refills right now.I lived in India for 5 years so know about bugs, currently in LA, but they all still want to get me here too!
